The more I listen to this song, the more I feel his pain and grief and the better I understand him. I always take at least 1 week or 2 weeks of processing and explaining to myself what happen in the anime I watched and how the main character and others felt. Its like you get deeply attached to the characters and the storyline that you cant believe it finish. You also want to understand them more. I always do this every single time I watch an anime, and I wait untill I process it and then move onto the next anime. Given is a type of anime that is going to take a while to understand how Mafuyu felt, which is frustrating but exciting. Given is honestly such a beautiful anime, but its also extremely heartbreaking. Its shows the struggles in which can happen in any age. I deeply felt sorrow for Mafuyu and everyone throughout the anime, and it really teaches you so much about the struggles in life. Ive never felt so inspired and genuinely shocked by an anime like how this one left me. I cant describe how beautiful this anime really is, it truly is a masterpiece, the animation, artstyle, storyline, and music. I love this anime with all my heart.

Mafuyu doesn't mean winter and neither of the characters used to write his name mean winter Edit: nevermind the anime/manga version of the name is written in a way that means midwinter. The more common way to write it isn't related to that which is why I got confused

@@raeannacardenas191 its not really something to find. remember Given is supposed to be a band so their songs can/are edited for a final musical production. part of it is the harmonizing voices people hear and think its Yuki. in reality, its Mafuyus voice edited to compliment the original/principal vocal.

I never know how to feel when people make big paragraphs about RU-vid videos but I’m about to write one now because listening to this made me feel the need to talk about it Spoiler warning? I don’t know where to start but this song is beautiful, both the tune and the meaning. Listening to this makes me appreciate music a whole lot more than before, I just find it amazing how different instruments go together to make a sound that can make people feel so many different emotions and I bet at least one of the people reading this has cried listening to this a couple of times like me. I saw another comment saying that we never really saw Yuki very much but we still feel attached enough to feel bad for Mafuyu, and I agree but I’m so glad he found a passion in music ✨

I kept hearing "yuki" at the beginning of the song. Well in the lyrics you see him saying its like snow that hasn't completely melted. Well i searched up what Yuki's name means, it means snow 🥹 that makes me cry for some reason. Like it's such a beautiful name and mafuyu actually used his name in his song, like 😭😭😭😭

this song makes me cry. but it also makes me dance, and want to play the drums, and smile for a while doing something and listening to something i love. if mafuyu were a real person; someone i could meet, i sure as hell would. i want to hear this live. the unedited, the real thing. his voice is so beautiful, it makes my heart wrench. they’re such a beautiful band. the guitar is perfect where it comes and goes, the drums stay consistent, yet are also perfectly placed, and the bass is boosted in my ears with euphoria. this was a rant of how my heart bursts with emotion when i hear this song, volume all the way up, with noise canceling. i love this song.

the songs really bring out those crazy feels and tie you to the characters' journeys.. the songs sometimes ring in my head still.. and i still cry when i remember or hear the song.. I love them so much ❤ especially for Yuki ❤
