😃 I'm glad saw this video. I wanted to tag you but I forgot who said it. It doesn't take much longer really. I edited most of the video during the day. I have to remind myself to film at the end of the night. I've tried to do this type of video before and I ruined it because I forgot to check in. I'm on my way home from my brother's house and I used the concealer to touch up some redness on my face instead of using the foundation. It sits really nice.
I loved this video!! I liked all the products that you used. I was really amazed with the mascara and blush. They both stayed perfect. I thought your makeup at the end of the day looked very pretty. It was a little oily around the nose until you powdered. I love this type of video and am looking forward to more❤️❤️❤️
Yay! I'm glad you liked it, Tina. I'm going to do more of these. I forgot to pay attention to the right side of my face where I used the setting spray.🤦♀️ It didn't make a difference at all. Knowing what I know now, I could prep my skin with a lighter moisturizer. I bet it would make a difference because my sunscreen is like skincare. I'm going to try it again like that and update you.

Oh Karla, that's a special job you have. I knew you were kind but this proves it even more. I have often thought about being a Death Doula. I've researched it a little. I'm not ready for it yet since I'm focusing on this but I feel like I could bring joy and peace to someone at the end of their life. Especially if they don't have family or friends to be there for them. I can picture the backyard you get to spend time in. Beautiful!
@@JulieMeikle oh Julie, you should do it! You would be a great Death Doula. So so many families need help caring for their elderly loved ones. It’s so rewarding. So far, I’m working 3-4 days a week/ week. Bless the ladies heart, I don’t think she ever gets a gentle touch and I am a toucher. Every one needs a hug and or a kind touch. The first time I started massaging her back, she at first jerked away, then all of a sudden she started relaxing. I’m always gently grabbing her toes and giving them a gentle squeeze, she loves. When I start to leave, I go over to her and give her a gentle pat on her arm or back and now she reaches out and pats me back. She can be honery, but she is getting use to me and is softening her ways. She’s in so much pain, but g Take her outside, and she becomes a lovely lady. She loves sitting out on her coverd patio talking and enjoying all the beauty. But I just cannot sit. It’s too painful, so I get busy doing things for her. I have been a caregiver since I was 8 yrs old.

She has a friend with identical twins who have stepped in and she has made the girls power of attorney and willed her house, all contents and her two vehicles to them. It’s really sad, as they do not even enough to get her by. I’m taking notes and really paying attention to what’s going on. I do not tolerate neglect in children and elderly. It’s heartbreaking. But thank you Julie. I sure needed to hear that as I don’t feel like I’m doing enough. The other little girl that stays with her every other day, just doesn’t do anything. I

You look so beautiful, all day long. I have the same color foundation as you. I just don't have the blush. The lip balm and mascara is really good too. I ended up buying the Mane large heated brush! It's on the way. I love this long barrel curling iron now!!! Mine is an automatic. Not the same. My husband is gonna flip cuz I have so much. I just bought a shark blow dryer brush and heated comb! I love it! It has a dry hair mode without damage! I'll wait on the curling iron and use the brush for a bit. Oh yeah, the heated round brush I have was an odd brand from Amazon.. it wasn't tymo. I have a heated brush straightener by tymo that's really good though. Thank you so much for doing these videos. I really appreciate them. I learn a lot and I save them to my library. Loved this style of video, wear tests are always helpful! That foundation has been a holy grail for me since it launched. One of my faves to wear in our hot humid Southern On summers. It fades "gracefully" rather than patching off in the heat. What level of coverage would you rank the concealer? It looked maybe medium'ish...Have a great Saturday Julie!!!
Hi Julie❤ I just got to the 6:31 spot and I had to pause to comment already😂 I’m 57 in a couple months (might as well get used to saying the number🤷♀️) and I always apply my concealer just at my inner corner and outer corner…( I almost never spread it under my entire eye as it shows my fine lines) I love the brightness down the center of my face so I’ll spread it towards my nose until it shears out enough to blend with my foundation. (I have a little darkness in the brow bone area of my upper nose and eyelid so I’ll spread that concealer up and cover that as well) I’m definitely thinking of trying Givenchy’s Prism Libra foundation… I have their loose powder and I love how it sets my under eye area❤❤ I’d also like to try their blushes!! Heading back home tomorrow from our visit with family in Budapest 🇮🇹… missing my 🐕 like crazy❤ I also wanted to say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your silver jewelry!! Everyone wears gold, and even though I’m a neutral gal and can wear either I much prefer silver or platinum ❤❤ always have!! That ring is awesome! I didn't know you were writing from Budapest!! How long have you been there? Did you tell me and I just forgot? I hope you had a wonderful time. I filmed a TikTok video today with the foundation again. I'm doing a check in at the end of the night for it too but I let my skin prep settle more before I applied the foundation to see if it would look less shiny. I'll let you know how it goes or I'll post it here when the video is edited.
I have a great for me sunscreen, a mix of organic and inorganic filters. Jigott Whitening UV Sun Block 50+/ UVA +++ it does have a slight cast but on my fair skin it doesn't matter/is not visible and I like that it sets and dries down quickly. You can easily apply the necessary amount without it feeling heavy. It's water resistant. Very affordable but very effective. As a daily make up wearer I never had issues w it. Been using it since 2017. There are hundreds or maybe by now thousands of reviews of it on Yesstyle, so I can see it works well on dry and normal skin and even some oily types.
I've been wanting to try that foundation and concealer but never had a chance to see it in stores yet. I'm not clear if the lightest shade will be fair enough for me or not 👀
I find a tad bit of filler there under the eye…only in the hollow really takes years off it’s quite unbelievable….i don’t get people not doing it more is it just for fear….or what it’s not even that expensive….people buy bags cars and clothes but completely neglect their face I don’t understand it at all
A little filler can help a lot but a lot of people aren't good candidates for fillers. It all depends on what's causing the shadows and darkness. If it's caused by skin thinning or sun damage, fillers won't work. Some people are nervous or don't know what's available to them or of course, they just choose not to do it. I love that we have a choice. My undereyes are best suited for a CO2 laser. I've had consultations but if I've decided I want my face and neck done at the same time as my eyes so I'm going to wait.
