After Le Mont-Saint-Michel, we visited the Claude Monet's House and Gardens in Giverny. It took us around three hours to get from Ducey to Giverny. The House was packed with visitors, in order to see his House, Gardens and the impressionist paintings. The Gardens is well maintained and full of colourful flowers. The famous spots are no doubt the scenes portrayed in Monet's paintings on Japanese Bridge and the Lily Pond. It is definitely worth a visit. After Giverny we went to Beauvais, a stop close to Calais for our return journey on the "D-Day". Beauvais is also a small and quiet town, but with a lot of history and architectural beauties, particularly the Beauvais Cathedral and the collections in the Museum of Oise. We only had two hours in Beauvais, but we managed to see the hot spots of Beauvais and try some French pastries from a local bakery. Here ends our road trip to France, do enjoy the beautiful scenery of Monet's House and Gardens and his impressionist paintings, as well as the beauty of Beauvais Cathedral and the various collections in Museum of Oise.
