@@MrSkmeIt isn't fake. He does this all the time. It would take MORE effort to fake all these videos, than it would to do it for real. There's hundreds of homeless people in every city why the hell would you think he would go through so much effort to fake all his videos when he could just as easily do it for real. You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Bro is awesome. A similar RU-vidr was in my city recently doing the same thing and that was definitely real because I seen him. And I help homeless people in MY city all the time, too. So why would someone else not do the same? Why would I be "gullible", to think that someone else is doing what I sometimes do myself? Makes NO sense, bud. These are just regular interactions in the USA it's not like seeing an alien. And what exactly did you see "in three seconds", that made you so confident it was fake, anyway? A homeless person looking for food in a dumpster?? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN OUTSIDE?? I SEE THAT EVERY DAY in the NYC area!! WHERE DO YOU LIVE???
@@MrSkmeSeems like a pretty stupid thing to do as it's probably much quicker and easier to just help homeless people. You'll have no problem finding them in pretty much any larger city in the US so like go up to one, ask if they're cool with filming them if you get them stuff they need. Only possible reason I could think of is it's a little bit safer faking it, but other than that.. You'd probably have to spend more to pay someone to go through with wearing trashed clothing, get that clothing in the first place or ruin perfectly good clothes and make the person look homeless and stuff to fake it. ...or you just ask a random homeless dude that seems safe and sane enough, which isn't particularly hard nowadays.
It's break my heart how he never touch a bed in 2 and half year i can feel his pain and suffering living in the streets like that even though i never ended in the streets bless that guy
Think he needed a moment alone to grasp reality. Ive been in a place of dsrkness like him and when something good happens, subtly or big, you question yourself if it is real, if theres a catch at the end. Alot of people dont end in a dark place because they arent hard working or addicts, alot of people end in darkness after giving all their light to people that just stole it instead of keeping it lighted up.
That wasn't an addict that was a man desperately needing help. He was extremely coherent and well aware of his situation. I hope he can find a job and earn some money

It's crazy how just a shower, some food. Clean clothes, and a bed can really change someone's life. It really shows what we take for granted edit: avoid the pointless war going on in the comments
Well it doesn't really. That's just the outside appearance. But that someone cared was what change him from the inside. But he probably still has an unseen history what needs attention.
@@hythron Maybe you don't realize how big of a difference these things make, but with that said you probably haven't spent any time being homeless or without family or parents. The bare necessities make a huge difference for someone trying to get on their feet. What his history was or is really isn't anyone's business. He wasn't asking for money for drugs, he was digging in the trash for food because he was hungry when this guy found him. His outside appearance is a reflection of his inward struggle. Someone with their needs met such as clean clothes, comfortable bed and food whenever they want, parents that love them and family that supports them has no place judging those who don't have those things. If you can't realize how much you should appreciate what you have after watching this, you've probably been spoiled your entire life.
The way he calls taking the stairs 'stairway to heaven' really shows how much that apartment means to him. I hope the helping guy sticks around long enough to get this guy on track

It’s embarrassing to get caught digging through the trash for food. I just pray something major changes in the world to help everyone that is struggling so bad. 😢
@totesmagotes3688 Oh absolutely, and I honestly struggle with the fact that there is a camera at all. But he does get their consent, and he wouldn't be able to continue this work otherwise. I just wish society could come around and see that we're all just trying to survive on this rock hurtling through space, and no one has more or less value because of their circumstances. I too just want everyone out of situations like these. I was homeless for a time when I came out to my family, and I was so grateful I had purchased a car as a young teenager, because it was my home. These poor people don't even have that much.
@@phillisob yes if you have a car and it’s legal, you’re in a better spot than a lot of people. I think it is terrible what is happening overseas, but we have our own citizens that are falling through the cracks. The thing is that the USA loves you when you’ve got money, but when you don’t, it can be a scary place. I remember years ago unexpectedly getting fired from a job, and my perspective was different when I didn’t have cash flow.
@totesmagotes3688 Definitely. I was really moved by Robin William's reaction to playing a homeless man. He came out of it with an unbelievable respect and love for the homeless. Most of the people in the US in 2023 are one bad thing away from a situation just like ours. Why can't people just respect the intrinsic value we all have as humans and reach out a helping hand? I love these videos because I think they do make some people realize not everyone on the streets is an addict. And even addicts have a whole life that's led up to that point. We should look at why and try to help them rather than demonizing them.
Me too! (Actually, I was weeping before that. It's sad that, for whatever reason, a human is hungry & has to live this way.) Wishing him & all a better life.
Good going AGAIN, Josh! I love all that you do for the homeless. Lord knows we can always use a little help and maybe give some back when we can. Thank you and God bless you ❤❤❤!!!

@@user-wm4xr7oo3q first off I agree but there’s a huge stigma attached to homelessness and people have a great deal of shame associated with it regardless of whether they should or not. Secondly, I happen to know for a fact one of the biggest channels that does this type of stuff is not what it appears to be. I didn’t say it was hired actors or “staged” per se in this case (although that absolutely does happen and RU-vidrs have been exposed for it and apologized etc. But there’s nuance…like it or not, and I know for a fact there’s a degree of directing going on even for completely legit homeless people. Peter Bond’s videos are a perfect example. You’re on drugs if you think he literally just happens to be walking behind the homeless dude he helped a few months before. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s all fake but it’s absolutely dramatized, directed etc. to varying degrees for maximum impact and whether you think that diminishes what’s being done or not or suggests it’s completely fake or whatever that’s on you to decide for your self. But one thing is undeniable, some are completely fake, some are varying degrees of fake, and some are completely legit. If you think that’s not the case, you’re way too gullible.
@@user-wm4xr7oo3q they exploit vulnerable people for youtube views. This homeless guy is at the lowest point in his life and in order for him to be helped by this youtuber he has to dance like a monkey for him. I try and help as many people as I can even if it's just buying someone lunch or dinner. The last thing I'd do to them is put a camera on them to show my good deed to the world. It takes away the human connection and turns it into media. If you're someone who posts to social media whenever you've done something nice for someone, you're expecting your reward to be the admiration of others. That's an ulterior motive to what should be an altruistic act. If you can't do something good for someone without also trying to get something out of it, you're probably not as good a person as you want people to believe you are.
