My 46 year old son passed away Oct 8, 2021 his birthday is Sept 19. He loved making Satan angry, by praising the Lord. Pray for me! But I needed this message. Thank you Lord and Elevation and Pastor.

I usually take notes during a sermon to reflect on later. This preacher captured my mind so completely that I will have to watch again and take notes. My husband who believes, but doesn't go to church had a very good point to your last point. If God isn't real, then when you go to court, why do you swear on the bible to tell the truth the whole truth. That's truth. He was referring to God not being real like the atheist it's trying to prove. You done a very good job today. The spirit was real. Thank you elevation church for allowing him to preach the message. @@Benjamin-un1wl I'm not a preacher, but do feel you do need to repent of your sins. That's the way I was raised in church. Hope this helps you some. I would contact a bible person for scripture on that.
I cried listening to this on a Monday morning. Such a great preaching. I lost my mom recently and I thought feeling all that way was abnormal. I pray for grace to maintain the attitude of faith.
Oh no! Grief is very normal and a process- know that Jesus goes through it with you! My Mom transitioned 3 years ago (August 2019), and I just realized that I am still grieving her loss, the loss of my life (as it was ) I now have to help raise my grandson who’s 3 and has autism spectrum disorder), and look after my 96 year old father. Thank You, Jesus, for being here for me and with me!
Praying for you-I lost my mother 10 years ago and I admit like Pastor Smith that it broke me, but God! But God saved my mind. Hallelujah! Praise Him and keep rubbing Lucifer’s nose in it, that he couldn’t do what we are doing - Praising and Worshiping God!

Pastor Dewey, watching this while I work, you had me standing and shouting. Thank goodness nobody is in the office but me. I would be part of that crowd that lost a child and went through a divorce and felt so much guilt and shame. I thank God every day for my strong strong mind. Man you have such a gift. Never stop shining like a rock. I am so glad I listened to this.
I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. The holly spirit is guiding me and I will start preaching in God’s name one day to bring this gift of true love and happiness to less fortunate and lost souls.Amen ❤❤❤❤🙏😇

This has got to be one of the best sermons I have had heard Praise Jesus. I'm going to apply all these steps into my life and I give God all the praise and glory for everything has done and is doing in my life. I'm a living testimony that God does exist.

I watched it at 9:30 this morning. When he got to the end with the mock trials I had all my children and my husband stand. I was overwhelmed. I had them all sit with me and I rewatched it just now with them. When we finished watching the whole thing and they all were astonished by what was said what a great preacher. I miss you Steve but he was a great replacement for today. Thank you Dewey you are amazing. 🙏🙏

@@Benjamin-un1wl , when asked what should be done to be saved, Peter replied, which applies to us today "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Read Acts chapter 2 Repentance is vital once we become mindful that we have sinned and come short of God's glory. That's how we will be pardoned.
@@Benjamin-un1wl based on all instances I’ve read of the apostles doing baptisms they have done it in the name of Jesus. I know Jesus said to baptize in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost but those He told understood that that name is Jesus Christ and acted accordingly so I believe so.
@@Benjamin-un1wl the latter part of Romans 8:9 tells us that without the Spirit of Christ, we are none of His. Read Romans 8 as it teaches the importance of receiving and living by the Holy Spirit in order to be saved. Flesh can not please God as our righteousness is like filthy rags, it’s His righteousness that saves us and His Spirit that will quicken or mortal bodies o we shall be raised from the dead to live eternally with Him.

John 12:25 ----- Those of you want to enjoy this life and do think that there is only one life, lets enjoy at its best - Shall Loose their Life Forever. However, those of you who would like to trade off this temporary life with Jesus, shall have a eternal life, they will live forever. Either you can enjoy this life and forget the future, else sacrifice this life for Jesus, (like Jesus and like all his disciples) and Live Forever. Make a Choice, its all yours!

GOD, I feel like the weight of life is holding me down and I cant move. My thoughts are running a marathon of worry and anxiety to my heart, and its easier to just become numb because the pain of trying to feel is just too much. YOU said YOU would be an ever-present help during my times of need. Well, I need YOUR help to get thru this. All of these. Help me to see past this fog of uncertainty and heal the parts of my heart that make it hard to hold on to hope. Open my heart to those YOU send to help me thru this. Thank you, Dr. Smith! How powerful!!! I totally understand what you went through. About three years ago, my hubby passed away, the day after my dad’s funeral. I never imagined delivering two eulogies in a week. It was traumatic, and it was difficult. The pain is real! I continue to take one step at a time. His love and faithfulness sustained me. He kept my son and me in His loving arms. Yes, we give God all the glory! Amen!

This message is so awesome because I have to literally take control of my thoughts because of the obsession that I have to want to use drugs it's natural to have an obsession to want to use but I have to switch up the thought.... I tried watching this message three times today. Starting at 6:30 pacific time, every time I was interrupted by a phone call. Tonight 10:37pm I just completed the message it had me shouting for joy.
