As someone who was born and raised in NC in a lower income family. These sorts of things stick with you for life. I remember a church in my neighborhood gave me a lot of my first brand new school supplies and it made me feel a lot better about myself. Not having what you need really sucks. I'm also from NC and seeing you give back to the community right around us is so heartwarming :) esp in NC, where education is so underfunded (we rank 48th in education funding if I remember correctly 😔) and teachers are so underpaid and end up using what little money they have to buy school supplies for their kids, this is really going to make a difference both for schools and teachers. I went to a school where 40% of us lived in poverty. Kind teachers used to give us pens and pencils to help us study. Now I am at university soon to graduate with a degree in biomedicine. Kindness like this changes lives

You will probably never see this but here it goes anyway. My son has been watching for a while now, I've noticed a remarkable difference in him. He wants to give to others when he really doesn't have much to give. I gave him a scratcher the other day and he won $10. He gave it to a homeless man in our town instead of spending it on something he wanted! 🥰 Ive been watching with him recently and I absolutely love and appreciate what your doing for everyone but especially children. Your inspiring good in a world full of horrors. As a single mom I am so thankful he has other people to inspire him to be a better person, to be kind. Thankyou for giving back and helping those in need.

As a high school math teacher in Texas, this is awesome. You don't realize how much the teachers spend on school supplies for their own classrooms because our kiddos don't have the supplies they need. We don't want any student to be without.

I recently watched a video about your life and how you got started and I am completely hooked. I love every aspect of what you are doing to change the world. I currently work as a paraprofessional in kindergarten, but by Christmas next year I will be a certified teacher. There was a time in my life that I didn’t know if I would be alive to love my little girl and love all the children I work with. I have chrons as well and your story inspires me. I was diagnosed at 12 and suffered for many years. At 22 my bowel ruptured and I spent 2 months in ICU after undergoing an emergency surgery that left me with a permanent colostomy. I thought my life was over then, but little did I know my life was about to change for the better. My colostomy saved my life and has given me more of a life than I ever had before. I stayed so sick and frail for so many years, at some points weighing as little as 76 pounds. Now I am healthy and able to enjoy my life and keep on living. Thank you for all you do ❤
