That first setup is my girlfriends', and she wants to make it clear that she FIXED THE FANS (after getting rightfully roasted for it)! Thanks for the advice peeps
You would get better temp if you use the steel pannel instead of the tempered glass :) but the glass looks soooo sick. Nice build. I have the non P variant.
As a Minnesotan I totally want to see the "3 City Idiots" of JayzTwoCents play farming simulator with a wheel and controls.. I would likely die laughing watching you guys try and multitask with a tractor/combine/hopper.
First reflection points are on the side walls and are more important than rear panels. Bass traps are for controlling room modes and resonance, the majority of ‘reverb’ is mid and high frequency, also if you’re going to recommend buying something cheap off Amazon you might as well say to buy diy panels from someone who makes them. Cheap panels tend to not be made from dense enough material, and if you’re buying bass traps that are super cheap, it’s highly unlikely they’ll work as advertised.
I'm still looking for parts to finish my 5950X workstation *and* I haven't gotten my computer desk into my new apartment. So right now I'm running my 2014 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5, AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB, 8 GB RAM, iMac. It's sitting on 2 stacked plastic tote tubs right next to my external raid system. Classy AF 😎
I'm glad Jay felt the need to express in the 1st setup that she doesn't need an AIO, way too many ppl rush out for AIO's wasting money on cooling that is unnecessary. Great video
You guys need to play Farm simulator 19. You might injoy the game. Would be cool to see you guys build a set up for the game as well and do a video of the 3 of use playing it. Just an idea not a must.
I used to cable manage like a freak. But i'm always unplugging and plugging stuff in and out, moving my rig or taking it places, I ended up just not giving a crap about it
Devonlethbridge the speakers you need for your setup. Is the Edifier luna eclipse white. I got them myself, they are not studio Monitors but they Sound very very good and they would look fantastic with your setup!
One of these daaayyyys, hopefully within the next year or so, I am going to be able to start jumping on these subscriber setup prompts after I've built myself some furniture
You can tell that Nick is so done with Phil's over the top cry-laughing at every little thing. I don't blame him but, man, I wish I found anything as funny as Phil finds it when Jay mispronounces a word or whatever.
lol no you can't? nick seems fine, just didnt bring any energy to the video this time but he still contributed and doesn't hate his friends lol. if you can't find any humor where phil is then thats on you
@@megamachine7818 I think this must be some kind of record for number of words put in my mouth. Lmao. I didn't say Nick didn't contribute. I didn't say Nick hates his friends. I didn't say that there's no humour to be found in Phil. Where on earth did you get all these points to argue against? They certainly didn't come from me anyway!
THIS. @JayzTwoCents you literally missed that it was an in desk build completely. You literally missed the computer. Dudes need to chill too IMO. Tell me whats GOOD about this stuff too please.
For the people who have stuff that just appears on your desk and have always been called lazy… screw the people who always called you lazy. Then check your adhd. There are ways to help with this but it is not lazyness. This is the only time I have ever been feeling screw you to Jay but it takes a lot of mental work for some of us to make a clean setup. Like a lot.
I know water flow is moved by pumps at a certain rate but if you could increase the speed of flow and the pressure it is under to do it makes a different change in temps `like a fan using air but water in a enclose
The old monitor I had used HDMI and I had a 10 foot long cable so it was easy to hide. My new LG monitor came with a 3 foot long display port cable and it barely reached the monitor and looked like it was floating in midair so of course I immediately went on Amazon and corrected that problem. LG could have spent the extra few cents and included a cable that people could use without placing the monitor next to or on top of the PC. More e-waste for my box of parts it goes.
I put the vetroo heatsink you recommended on my i5 8400 and saw no change in temps from an intel stock cooler. It stays pretty cool, highest like 65 degrees on a hot day. I wish it wasn't the locked variant so I could maybe overclock a bit and use the headroom
Little do they know farming has come along way.. and especially when you got the big bucks.. high tech combines and sprayers that run everything off computers and GPS. Some all you gotta do is turn and it lines you up on your next swath and the big money equipment your just along for the ride. It does everything. You sit in an air conditioned roomy cabin and watch movies then when your done you drive to grab fuel or Your next piece of equipment..
