I feel u, it gets exhausting. I had to learn that I def can't fix anyone nor is it my job to, so if I can't deal with someone at face value then I don't even waste my time. We deserve the best for ourselves & that person won't be perfect, just like we're not but it'll work for us without us having to overly compromise, sacrifice or settle.
It just don’t seem worth it anymore. I just don’t understand men and can barely stand being bothered with them now a days. They just seem like opportunist. The fun in dating is gone it’s a hassle
Love this Nellz! Might be the light but u are glowing & look great! This video is it! Everything u said is so true. IMO after each break-up that person leaves with a piece of us, we have to take a minute to get ourselves back together, realize the lesson we needed to learn from the last & go from there. I had to take time out to understand why I was finding myself in the same cycles & face a lot about myself, it's not easy but so worth it. I refuse to settle & my senses are so that I quickly filter out certain people right away & don't feel the need to just "give them a chance." Yes, I feel lonely sometimes but the peace in my soul will not be compromised. Dating nowadays poses so many challenges, especially if u have children, which is a whole other subject. It's great to get out & talk to people, even individuals who may not be "our type" because u never know where it can go or what u can learn-broadening the horizon, not settling though!

I am confused. Besides the comparison with a video-game boss fight, this video is very vague. Also there is a huge difference between dating as a hetero woman vs as an hetero man. Women can find a date anytime they want and just select the ones they think are best suited, men on the other part must work so hard to just be noticed and when they have that chance there a lot of pressure on them to deliver to that woman. That said, after rejections and failure, any average man will lower his expectations by accepting to be with a woman a little overweight, with children from a previous reation, who is very demanding with maybe some behavior problems. In fact, this is why it's seem to be difficult. Women want the Top males, the professionals, doctors. lawyer businessman with 5 figures, tall, top shape, educated, who will devote his time and attention toward the woman. This is why women feel like the average man is not worth it, they expect perfection. While men just accept what they get and try to be happy with less. Their effort are just void when the girlfriend discard them for another one in the list of all the other pretendants. Just like that. In the blink of an eye. Sure tis is frustrating. But there is hope. There is a growing trend in society that will encourage women to actually make the effort to make the first setps, and to focus on The current date they are now experimenting with a man they approached. Also, men are learning to always have in mind tto not put too much effort to impress women and to treat her as an e-q-u-a-l. Women will pay thier half . and will work the relationsip having in mind men can just walk away and give up anytime.
