@@sacchaSanatani459 Never seen on roads Never seen in showrooms. I think its not launched in india and by the way I'm talking about single cylinder 250cc
10 year old technology still ruling the 250cc segment , ♥️ Proud to own my 2017 250r , btw in this video the tyre of cbr 250r was completely worn out and tyre plays very important role in top speed ,chain was rusted, still it managed to smoke , try with 2016-17 model I'm damm sure it will smoke in drag and top end too
But if rc250 was launced in india .than neither cbr nor gixxer would win the race . yahh it's true that honda is honda . and also cbr 250r is one of the best 250cc motorcycle in india .
CBR's DOHC engine, tall gearing and bigger windshield makes it's performance better at top end. Gixxer SF 250's performance is mostly concentrated on low and mid range and smartly tuned for city ride + occasional touring. Most people commenting here that a decade old bike is beating the newbie doesn't even bother to check engine configurations of both, or may be not able to understand the technical differences. If Honda wants, they can surely tune 250cc single cylinder to produce 30-31bhp like KTM did with 250, but they won't, because Activa Generates 70 times revenue compared to CBR's heyday Sales. If Suzuki wanted they could have provided DOHC + Oil or liquid cooling, but they didn't because they wanted to build more usable bike for daily commute.
I totally agree with your comment, Honda is a global company, they will not do what people tell them, they will do what they think is right for them to generate profit. Also they know Indian customers thought process that's why they are not bringing the Indonesian version Indonesia currency being least powerful among Asian currencies. They buy 250 CC motorcycles paying more than 10 lakes(1 INR = 198 Indonesian rupee, approx) but they respect their bikes and passion, not like 80% people in India who are mostly squids but try to act technical and smart. And BTW the video is very good and professional, unbiased approach.
Yeah man, all these brands have the engineering capability to do whatever they want. Some people mainly Indians, just pick a brand and they just praise it like it's their family-owned business...haha
@@AlexAugustinex : Exactly, they are racing in MotoGP and WorldSBK etc for decades with most advance automobile R&D capabilities. But, there earning comes from selling in masses. So, they have to focus on their respective business strategies. Honda is all geared to replace Hero in low cost high volume sales. Why would they bother to update CBR250R? My advice has always been, go with the product, rather than brand. But, we are surrounded by fanboys. 🤣 No wonder why Classic and Bullet still sales way more number of units than Dominar, even if classic/bullet owner die maintaining it's poor quality components.
cbr250 r has larger windscreen compared to Gixxer SF 250 which helps to cut through the wind and move comfortable through the wind but Gixxer SF 250 is value for money
Both the bikes are legendary. You can't go wrong with either. Top end will definitely be great with CBR due to 4 valves, tall gearing and liquid cooling. So it's more sophisticated. It's just that when my money goes out for a bike I don't feel like shelling it out for a new CBR 250r.. Gixxer SF250 is the all rounder, no nonsense bike! 😎
Even though it was a crappy launch. The smoothness and the finesse the CBR overtook is something beautiful to watch. The CBR will, always and ever be one of the legendary 250cc. Overbore it with the right materials and it can kill almost most of the 300cc. Such a reliable and beautiful bike.
@@sahebchakraborty9863 r15 is the best in class bike...and build quality is better than ever in the version 3.... you want build quality? go buy the Royal Enfield....that hefty full stell 200 kgs..and be happy with the build quality
Great launch, guys. It's amazing how the CBR is pulling that strong even if it clearly looks like the more used bike here. I feel the Honda also has the aero advantage with the bigger visor.
Once a legend is always a legened no one literally not a single 250cc bike cant beat this JDM a ike whcih was designed back 10 years ago can still hold up and keep up well in todays world is incredibly great. None can beat the engineering in terms of Honda the reliability and engine cannot be beaten by another single cylinder motor *THE SAD PART IS HONDA IS STOPPING THIS BIKE FROM 1ST OF APRIL*.
They say old is gold and CBR250r proves it. CBR250r is a legendary bike of 250CC category. I remember the moments in my teenage years when I would wish to see someone riding CBR250r. Now I own Gixxer SF250 but CBR will always hold a special place in my heart.
Finally a video comparing these two juggernauts of 250cc segment, was waiting for this comparisons for a long time. Gotta say i didnt expect sf250 to be this good coming close to cbr in most occasions , but could it displace the legend that is cbr 250r? Sf provides good low end grunt which makes it good for city conditions which explains the small windshield, but i feel cbr is better overall for most conditions- just install a powertronic and pirelli diablo rosso on cbr and you will know what i am sayin here . It goes without saying sf 250 will give u fresh looks , cbr will give you miles with smiles , Thanks Ayush keep making such post... also i would like to see a race between you two guys on the same bike . Cheers!!! 🍺🍺🍺🍺
1 . HONDA - CBR-R 250 WITH DOHC SET UP FOR TOP END RUSH . 2 . SUZUKI - GSX-R 250 ( COST CUTTING ) WITH SOHC SET UP FOR MORE MID-RANGE GRUNT . BOTH R GREAT SPORTS TOURER M/C . Thanks .
Even 0 to 100+ gixxer performed well.. Try with BS-IV CBR250R.. Because., Old engines already freed so it could be run freely.. Gixxer rev limiter also matter.. Do once again with Bs4 cbr vs Bs4 gixxer that would be Good.. 👍
@@TVVDINAKARAN thatsy I said.. When there is no limiter in Gixxer then makes more top end.. Even though CBR struggles to beat 0 to 120 marks. I Like both the bikes.. But, it would be better when compare both with BS-IV engine.. Everyone knew BS-3 performs well than BS-4...
CBR 250r was my first 250cc bike and now I own Gixxer SF250 .Both bikes are awesome but I really like Suzuki's engine in terms of refinement and confort.. CBR was a beast but after some time it started to irritated me like engine heating issue and unnecessary noise coming out of the engine and exhaust pipe..
So suzuki is smoother and better quality? I am looking for 250 gixxer v storm and I life unicorn, I like honda smoothness but it has lot of starting and heat issue
Finally jis video ka intezar tha aaj wo dekh hi liya. Mujhe pehle se hi i mean video dekhne ke pehle hi lag raha tha ke cbr hi jeetegi kyon ki cbr bani hi hai top speed aur performance ke liye jab ki gixxer ko suzuki ne all rounder banane ki koshish ki hai jiski wajah se woh top end me lose ho gayi hai. Yahi ek cbr ka strong point hai. Aur cbr bhi to apne segment me most comfortable supersport hua karti hai before gixxer.
Gixxer 250 has much better useable, tractable power lower down which makes it a breeze to ride in city.. CBR250 is poor lower down.. Inspite of top speed n top end difference, I like Gixxer250's engine more for good balance of everyday use n good highway cruising..
Why Honda is not launching cbr250 with some mechanical and performance updates. Always busy making activas and shines 🤣 BTW that ns guy has 🔥 skills hope we will see him in more races.
@@MrM42123 Kill switch is there btw! DUAL channel ABS in 2011 with combi brakes too! Jab log samajhte nhi the jad se ye feature h bike me jo ki supersport categories ki bike me ata tha even ninja 250 its main rival was nothing in front cbr250r although it had more top speed and 2 cyilanders.
650ib and other Americans do smackdown on their 1000cc sport bikes, but we Indians do it on our 250cc sport bikes and is equally fun if not more. Kudos👍 Now coming to both the bikes. Well Gixxer SF250 even though looks like a race replica is just a faired version of a naked street bike. Its engine has great grunt in the bottom and mid range which is perfect for street bikes. Its single spar frame, oil cooled engine are perfect for street. But CBR 250R not ONLY looks like a race replica, it has evolved from the factory as one. Everything from aerodynamics to big bore engine to twin spar trellis frame to pro-link suspension has been purpose built for this sports quarter bike by Honda. Thus CBR 250R sucks in bottom range but cross 7k rpm and it rules the top end, just like a pure sports bike should.
Ayush bhai vibration vo bhi cbr 250r pe?? Ho hi nhi sakta phele to is video me cbr 2013 ki h aur vo bhi buhot buri condition me , video me hi dikh raha h rusted chain , completely worn tyre aur coneset ka cover bhi gayab h , new cbr chalake dekho bhai
A CBR250R-bs4 vs GixxrSF250-bs4 drag race will be more appropriate.. The CBR in here is a bs3 which will obviously be more powerful than its counterpart bs4
At higher rpm cbr can beat any single cylinder 250cc segment bike... It's a high performance bike. Cbr is legendary bike 😍 Old machine still dominates sealed bike😂
An engine's best performance can lie at any RPM range or a balance across different RPM ranges. OEM has to tweak, ECM's software, Cam profile, Valve size, Stroke-Bore ratio among other things to adjust bike's performance at particular RPMs. Long story short, if you watch technical presentation of Gixxer SF 250, you will get the idea, it is designed to spread it's performance across different ranges of RPMs, so not being dedicated completely to either low, or mid or high RPM. CBR is good for highway touring, Gixxer is a balance between city and highway. Honda will not update CBR250R to BS6 in near future, as they are not able to fulfill demand of Activas even after selling about 3 lakh units per month, CBR is not worth of their energy and investment, and Suzuki won't implement VVT or DOHC in Gixxer to keep cost in control and increase sales volume.
Pretty even. Had the gsx250 and can say it’s a tad slower than a ninja 250 but faster than a cbr250. Main limitations are the air box snorkel, headers, and gearing is too low. 83mph and it’s at the revlimiter. Not to mention the engine shine at low/mid rpm. It’s not revy like a ninja. Higher gear and some mods to help it breath is all it needs. How ever the durability of the Suzukis engine is beyond superior to even the ninja 250. I swamped mine and flooded the crankcase and hydro locked the engine. Air box was full of water as well. We managed to get it started of about 20 minutes of bumping the starter and clearing the cylinders. Rode about an hour home or longer like that. Flushed it out and got it cleaned up. Compression was perfect and no shavings in the oil after a couple hundred miles. No smoke. Not even a misfire. Absolutely unbelievable.
Bro cbr me vibration hai hi ni aap kya baat kar rhe ho wo apne engine smoothness ke wajah se hi king h.. kya pata jo aapne chalai wo maintained na ho..
Bro love your Videos...❤️.. keep it up..... Bro one request ... Whenever you'll make performance test video ... Record it in morning 8 or 9 am on Highway...looks great ..😗
Every day it makes me smile... that transition of power and sound after 7k rpm is too awesome but it needs too many frequent gear change in ghat section.
@@JaspreetSingh-iu8uc Now its around 2.5 L onroad Bengaluru. Buy well mantained used ones because cbr 250r is built to last long unlike KTMs and Dominars.
I would still go with Gixxer for 2 reasons : 1. Good for city use , torquey , great acceleration 0-100 2.CBR is no more . Earlier it was just about no more updates , now the entire bike is no more
Bro ur ending comments was not correct. Bcoz the cbr u were riding was at least 5-6 yrs old and Gixxer was brand new so vibration part will not be comparable. Coz Gixxer will vibrate more than CBR after 6 yrs. Just think abt honda quality that after 6 yrs also it is winning the race with a newly launched same category same power low weight byk like Gixxer. So no comparison in 2020 also with CBR. Coz cbr is a much much better byk in any way. ( Not in asthetics). Now different people should say any digital meter, upgrades bla bla bla. But cbr has a different fan following bro.
My first bike that i bought brand new was the 2012 CBR250R tri-color. (Had Xr135 and Apche RTR180 bored to 190cc earlier) Sadly sold the bike cuz of financial issues. 6 years later by God's grace I bought my first street superbike the mighty z900. Sold it, now I currently ride a Street triple RS! a year later, I miss the CBR, I bought a 2nd hand one now for track project! Long live the mighty pocket rocket CBR250R!
