@@El_senor-E1006the Chinese God Nuwa created the Mogwai. She thought humanity was good. Her brother Fuxi believing humanity was bad created the three rules of the Mogwai. If humanity followed the rules, Nuwa would be allowed to create more benevolent creatures to fill the earth. If humanity violated the rules, Fuxi would ve allowed to create malicious creatures to fill the earth with. Since humanity violated the rules, Fuxi turned the Mogwai into Gremlins who in turn began destroying civilization. Nuwa having seen enough, turned the Gremlins back into Mogwai and banished them to the Valley of Jade.
This tune has been stored in my brain for decades. Today I just heard it again in my head and came to youtube just to confirm if it was acurate. 100% acurate. Damn, why don't I use my brain to remember useless stuff...
I think you zigged when you should've zagged, but I get your point. Came for the same reason, and yes I also remembered it accurately. Stupid brain, try remembering when bills are due, not the theme to 'Perfect Strangers' and other useless knowledge.......
Little guys like him are the reason I much prefer the classical effects to today's CGI effects. There's at least something there in the frame being filmed and you can actually touch it. That brings so much more life to the movie. Gremlins is awesome.
really?. ',:v I thought that Billy wanted Gizmo to imitate the notes and the latter got confused and that's why he pressed the Electric Piano Key just to play due to the confusion of the moment. XD :o
I treasure "Gremlins"..... between this and "E.T."..... such a profound childhood memory. I thought this scene was cute at age 6 and now that I'm 35.... nothing has changed except that I appreciate having experienced this movie as a child even more well into my adulthood.
Fun fact: even though Gizmo was voiced by a man in all of the other scenes (including in the other dubs of the movie, in different languages, making Gizmo's voice 100% consistent in every countries), Gizmo's singings was provided by an unknown actress.
I love them both, but Gizmo's face does seem more expressive than Grogu. The animatronics were amazing, even more so in the second movie. I watch this one every Christmas and it still stands the test of time.
I love gizmo he adorable and cute and his song makes me cry I remember I was about 16 years old and cause watched. gremlins for the 50th time I saw it loads as a kid anyways I was sitting watching it with my sis and my friends and I kept rewinding it.over and over gizmo's song like in.this video and it made me.cry and because gizmo was cute and cuddly and made me cry my friends and my little sis nicknamed me gizzmo cause they loved my cuddles and thought it was cute and sweet that I cried listineng to gizmo's song over and over so that's how I got my nickname gizzmo
My Yorkie is the runt of the litter but insanely small, his mom was a white Yorkshire terrier so he has a couple of white spots and he’s like 3-4lbs. Because of his tiny size and big ears, his ears stick out horizontally on his head and he looks like Gizmo, same very loving personality too. I have my very own Gremlin 😭❤️
Politically, economically and in some ways socially, they were an awful time, but we did still have a bit of magic to help us through. Great movies and great music. And personally speaking, fewer aches and pains.
For literally years this song has been driving me crazy... stuck in my head, and unable to figure out... and today (August 10th, 2011) The Cinema Snob used this piece of music in one of his reviews. It was driving me crazy, and I finally figured it out. Thank you for helping relieve the OCD style repetition which captured my mind for a few hours every few years for the last couple decades.
I always cry with this scene, and I don't cry easily, the reason is when I was a child (I would not be 10 years old) I was at home with my father watching the TV, it was during Christmas holidays, and my father saw that Gremlins were going to start in a channel, he likes this movie a lot, and I was the first time that I was going to see the movie, so my father and I saw it together and it's one of the most beautiful memories and good times I have and because I love my father very much.
