What I've noticed is the band keeps levelling up every year. They just keep getting better and better. Especially live. I don't think they have reached their final form yet.

another brilliant performance of itrn i wanna highlight is venusian 2 from red rocks '22 - it's so much faster and the mix is way better than the studio one imo

I always liked King gizzard. Had some cool stuff in the earlier albums but for some reason didn't completely grab me until rat's nest. This album is just absolutely fucking perfect in every way and it's by far the best in my opinion. it's sad that nothing after this record has hit that high yet. I want more thrash gizzard.

@@walterooskithat's also an incredible album. I think it might also be the time rat's nest came out I needed something like that. That era of King gizzard reminds me of Kylesa, their albums Static Tension and Spiral Shadow also had the double drummer thing going on. I got to see them on the static tension tour and it was so fucking sick. If you got a slot in your schedule you should check them out if you haven't.
