Thanks for this information, without a doubt it has been very useful. I have a question though: I know you only have to send one set of original documents to the university, however, do you have to send one set of BOTH the scholarship application and the university application or one or the other? I had to send a set of documents to the university for the scholarship application and I had to send another set of the documents for the university application. So I had to apply for both the scholarship and University entrance separately. This is mostly because the scholarship deadline is earlier than the univeristy application period.

im not sure, but i think GKS is awarded twice a year. it depends on how often the university you are applying to admits new students. (most universities have admission twice a year and some are once a year) it would probably be more efficient if you asked this question to the university you are applying to
Hi! I think it is best for you to see how many slots are avaliable for your country for each track to help you decide. You should be able to find that information on the scholarship website
I am actually a foreign student studying for my master's degree in Turkey, I could not get the answer on the site but was wondering if I was eligible to apply for the scholarship through the Korean embassy in Turkey knowing that I am not a Turkish citizen and that my country doesn't figure on the eligible countries ,I thought that every international students could apply. If anyone else is in the same situation or has an answer please help me out. Thank you

from what i remember, I sent GKS application and the required documents to the university I was applying through. I had to apply for admission and apply for GKS separately at the university. The university reviews your documents and will decide to interview you or not.

Hi! I also applied for the GKS Graduate degree via University track. I've also had my phone interview but the professor didn't quite ask a lot. Mostly about my life here in Korea. Idk if that's good or not tbh haha. Oh, the interview was in Korean btw. I hope we can both pass!! ✨✨✨
@@hellokittyn I am from the Philippines!! I think they are just testing my Korean level bc I mentioned in my essays that I am currently enrolled in a Level 3 Korean language program but I didn't submit a TOPIK certificate.

Hi kindly please can you help me, I want to apply for a fully funded bachelor degree scholarship in Korea , I’m a 25 years old girl, already graduated from my high school with a high score of 97,4% thanks to Allah and I also graduated from my college degree of pharmacy in 2020 but with a very low overall total GPA. I badly need to take another bachelor degree in engineering which is a totally different field in South Korea scholarship, so can I apply? am I eligible? Can I apply without telling that I already got a bachelor degree? hi first you would get an interview with the university and they will decide to nominate you for the scholarship or not. if nominated, then the university sends your application to the next round and the gov't will choose the finalists.

Hello, my best advice is to be over prepared. Go over what you wrote for your application and prepare for any additional questions they might ask you. I went through my application and made questions for myself and praticed answering them. & pratice interviewing with a friend so you are more comfortable speaking. Good luck!

How would they invite students from all over world in this pandemic situation. I don't know if my parents would allow me if I got selected. Its stressing me out. if there isn't one then how does this video exist lol? I explained in the video that I had the gks interview via the university I applied through and then that school chose to nominate you for the scholarship. this was back in 2020 so its possible that things have changed.

@@wanderbeyondtheborders9534 Hi Atif, that is a good question. To be honest, I don't know :( I am renting my own apartment in Korea so it is a question I never considered. I would suggest emailing the school to ask.
I applied for the fall semester 2020 and I remember the application opening in Feburary. Keep in mind that if you are applying by university track then you need to contact the university and ask for their GKS deadline as each school has different deadlines.
i posted a follow up video explaining that i passed the interview but didnt get the scholarship. I am now studying on a different scholarship in Korea and I discuss that in more detail in my scholarships in korea video.
