For someone who says they don’t know a lot about glaciers and terminology you’re doing really good. Stay humble. And keep showing people this stuff it’s super important. One thing you can mention is that a bunch of the flooding that happens in the Himalayan mountains, GLOFs or Glacial Lake Outburst Floods are when the lakes get too big for the terminal moraine and essentially burst the dam. Has happened in Alaska and the Yukon (where I live) from time to time. One such GLOF is the Lowell glacier that often surges and blocks a river, and then bursts. Very cool video.
