Today I explore a small local park in Elkton, MD looking for Gold, Coins and Relics!

My brother worked for Elkton, they found a cannonball when they were replacing a water line. There was also a guy who found an old rifle in Elkton in the ruins of a colonial house basement. That water you were walking through used to be dredged and had heavy boat traffic pre-1910. They said it was a pretty busy port. My husband taught me how to drive in that park in his 1992 Buick Roadmaster 🤣. I still can't believe you found gold there lol.

Good old Meadow Park. That whole park is under water a lot of times during the year. It floods pretty regularly in that part of Elkton.

Illinois as far as I know is very strict on things, of course, Historical places. Maybe around the older towns. Diggin' It! Did a story but found nothing of value around where I live and I really thought he would dig up something in my hometown. He didn't. cool video thanks!!! That place at Massacre Rock in Idaho I found out is called Bonanza Bar. It had it's Boom and Bust just like so many towns in the west. Some of the old building foundations might still be there I was told.

Any plans to come north to British Columbia? The gold panning reserve in Yale is only a hour or so past the border,lots of fine gold and garnets. Keep the great videos coming and good luck.

I will be visiting "PioneerPauly" for a gold sniping video or two, also "Dan Hurd" another BC gold prospector will be showing me around some of his claims. They're both "Gold Tubers" like myself, both in BC in case you don't know. But yet, plans are in the works to visit BC (again)!

So Klesh which pan is best in your opinion for that ultra fine, icing sugar sized micro gold..?

Honestly in the field the best pan for any size gold, in my experience, is the Garrett Super Sluice gold pan. It's going to concentrate everything you can fit in in down to cons that you can then take home and pan through more carefully, using a smooth finishing pan. (the blue one used in some of my videos).

Nice video bud :) i have never gold panned and have wanted to for about a year now i live in scotland Edinburgh last week i put all the stuff i need in the amazon basket lol there is actually a couple of places near me where gold is known to be but i wanna be adventurous and go somewhere completely different might be a bad idea lol but ill still have fun. Thanks for coming to my hometown :-) been interested in panning since I spent a summer in Charlestown md. I kept finding shiny yellow fleks all up & down the beach. I’m not a pro, but I’m thinking maybe I had it confused with the mica that yu found.

It's an awesome little town! Yeah if you're seeing yellow flecks on the beach on top of the sand it is definitely not gold - but you are correct in your identification of it being Mica.
