Thank you Mr.Lachlan for your kind words i truly appreciate that you took the time to make a video about this passion of mine which is making cables, i am glad you enjoyed the cables:)
I ordered 4 different cables, its really convenient how many choices in cables and terminations there are. Customer support was great too. The soldering on one cable broke because I was an idiot and pulled out the cable by the cord. He sent me a new one after I wasn't able to fix it myself.
I just bought a pair of 3-month old ZMF Atrium, the seller gave me the Gladiator cables with XLR connector. It’s very well-made, looks and feels wonderful. This set came with the stock rubbery cable with XLR and a fabric cable with 6.35. I agree the Gladiator sounds brighter.
I paid €70 (shipped) for a new Gladiator Cable (Sennheiser 2 pin style). Looks awesome and the customization options are awesome. However, the 2-pin connectors were always kinda creaky and didn't feel solid. It's been about a year and now my right channel is cutting out. Pretty disappointing for the price. I can probably take them apart and try to get it fixed/re-solder, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that.
I can't hardly wait for your review for Ceaser line coffee litz. I might hold the purchase till i see the review :) will be using it on focal clear and hifiman edition xs.
Hi Lachlan, nice video, do you also plan maybe to compare some cables intended for iems? (Dunu Hulk, Hulk pro, Kinera upgrade cables: Leyding, Dromi, Gleipnir,...)? It is not cheap I know, just wanted to know if you wouldn't be reviewing these by chance.
Hi Matus, it all depends on what I can get sent to me so I'm always open to it. I've got an Effect Audio IEM cable review in the works at the moment and I've reviewed the Ares Audio Ikigai cable in the past so I'm definitely interested in them, but it all depends on the suppliers
The Hifiman cable is both silver and copper at least on the HEK v2. I've ordered the Caesar line harmonic which is copper silver litz for my KEK v2 and will report back once I've received it .
My Audeze LCD2 had the old flat ribbon-style cable when I bought it. I upgraded to their newer cable after trying various things and it was certainly better. The differences are quite minute though.
Going from a low quality cable to a high quality cable can make maybe 5-10% at the extreme. It's not even going to transform a system, but it can make a shift
Have purchased 2 cables from Antonio. He’s got phenomenal customer service. Sent me a replacement cable simply because he wasn’t happy with the quality of the one he sent. Fully recommend. Edit: Just gonna say that you can use code Mike at checkout for a discount. I don’t get anything from it but it saves you a small bit of money.
Curious to see what you’d think of Lavricables. I’ve personally been using their products for a couple years now & it’s given me the highest quality sound compared to others.
It's possible that the tube amps are making the cable difference less obvious in a couple of ways: either due to having higher output impedance which would minimise the impact of cable impedance differences, and/or buy being smoother sounding to start with and therefore having less detail differences to reveal. I'd never considered the impact of things like amp type on the value of cables, but it's totally possible you've discovered a new wrinkle.
@@PassionforSound xinhs 7n copper litz cable. Hope it will be good as this seems to be a nice manufacturer. I will concider buying his products in the future! BTW loving the t3 pro!! Thanks again
For me good quality & nice looking cable is a must, especially when my headphones are hi end. I cant resist lol it is a bit crazy but that's who I am 😅. Back to gladiator cables, that splitter caught my attention thats something unique I dig it ! Sadly I'm looking for something more as goes quality of wires. I'm using cable directly made in Poland where I'm from, Forza Audioworks 8 strands of 26AWG cryo 7N UPOCC copper/silver hybrid wire in semi-Litz geometry 👍
I'm sorry to hear that if it's true. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a bit of a smear campaign against Gladiator Cables so it's very hard to know what's true and what's not true.
