I like all telemetry. Compass, angle,... could be very handy for orientation.

I’m almost afraid to watch!!😱... I pulled the trigger on version one... wow!! They really beefed up the camera settings... 😱.. that app!!! Wow.. but so far, I’m not feeling to bad about my purchase so far.. looking forward to your ocean test !!!

There's some big improvements on this over the V1. But, whilst the odd incomparability with the iPad wouldn't affect me, it really does need to be fixed given the market share of such devices. Looking forward to the water runs as that is where the validity of the improvements will really be tested

Nice review Dustin I have been having problems with the Ipad since I had the V2, keep going back to android. it's a shame because I like the size and the screen on the Ipad mini.

Thanks for the review. Just a heads up---Time:5:35 You mentioned putting silicone on the o-ring. Lubrication yes; silicone NO! Silicone is not conducive with salt water. As a Navy Diver we used Tribolube. Expensive, but so is the Gladius. May be other products, but don't use silicone in salt water.

Thanks. So silicone grease I used to use in waterproofing electrical fittings from salt air and rain here in Hawaii is not recommend for the silicone rubber seals?

@@DustinDunnill In the Navy Dive communnity we were told never to use silicone, because it gums up in salt water. I believe that's what happens. Of course that. was with respect to life support equipment. Never cared to try it on my dive gear just to find out. Just always used tribolube, since that's was the only thing in the dive locker. BTW, did you ever find your drone in that quarry, or what ever it was?

Hi Dustin, how do you regard the Pro version against the mini and when will we see the deep water tests. Great reviews by the way.

Hey Richard. The main differences are battery life, speed and wifi buoy. Which are lacking in the Mini although it has the 3rd rear stabilization motor which gives it the pitch lock, depth lock and portability abilities over the pro. So there is a trade off which the user will have to determine is best for their application.

@@DustinDunnill Hi Dustin,Thanks. I am looking for one which will be best for filming and doing some surveys? I have my own RIB so can get out on the water. Have you seen the upcoming Navatics Mito. It has advanced stabalisation technology, pitch lock etc and a colour correcting camera built in. Would be a great candidate for a full review.

By the way, anyone know if there is som balancing electronic in this sub, in regards to balance charge the lipo, and also, if there is some self discharge to storage voltage feature after a given number of days without use?

Yes, it balances internally and drains to a lipo storage voltage automatically after a while.
