There's an entire game series about why this is a bad idea. Edit Below; First of all, thank you kind commenters who added to the discussion and the 10k people who liked my comment! I'm very grateful. Unfortunately, there are a few commenters who have gotten on my nerves, and so this part is for them; Just because a game series is only two games, that doesn't make it any less of a series. And yes, "entire." The Portal series is finished- there's no need for any more games. Half-Life is for certain unfinished, but a third Portal game would be beating a dead horse and there's very few scenarios where they could build a new Portal game in a way that will be good. I love the Portal franchise with all my heart, but don't pretend like we don't have all the answers- like it's unfinished. It's very finished, and we have all the answers. That's all I have to say on all the "entire?" and "lol series?" comments. I know you're trying to be funny, or whatever, but it's just rude and after one or two it gets really annoying. I know it's the "internet" and "whatever, it's not like I'll ever meet these people and there's no need to hold back thanks to the anonymity," but I promise you that using simple kindness and learning to flush those sour comments out of your own head will do some good for you. Amazon or google could colab with valve to make a “skin” of the echo or the google home or whatever it’s called. Like the same functions and tech on the inside, maybe in the base of it, but it looks like GladOS, has her voice, and with the genius valve writers writing her snippy responses. Maybe it would even be articulated like GladOS. It would be like a toy tho so they probably would never do it
