My favorite slogan for dealing with removal of stubborn inner CV joints when resorting to using a slide hammer and finally getting it to pop out especially when an audience has gathered to see what the loud hammering is about is........ VAMONOS NEXT !!! ( a shout of success ) You guys are great, keep up with the great videos.

Just to let you know, when where racing to change a rear axle real fast and not mess with the radius rods if you take the trailing arm bolt off the chassis, the sway bar bolt and the shock bolt it will swing up and out and you can take the axle in and out. Way faster than taking the radius rods off. Hopefully that helps.

@@duneaddict the only thing to watch is on the stock arms you may have to drill a couple of the robots for the brake lines but that is easy.

One of my favorite things to do when I go to glamis is stop by the shop even if sandcars not broken these guys have saved me countless times with random parts and valuable info can’t thank them enough I remember the first time I met joe and the guys , makes me laugh every time I think about it !!! Good stuff dude love these videos

In your opinion, who manufactures the highest quality/reliable sandrails one could buy? I feel like you're just about the best person to ask considering your line of work/familiarity with so many of them.

I’m partial to Sand Limo but thee are a few other quality builders out there

@@duneaddict I see. Watching these videos I often told myself that these guys should build and sell their own sandrails with their knowledge. A quick google search tells me Sand Limo is JoeFab. Now it all makes sense. (I'm new and just learning this industry). I appreciate your response!

Guy could learn a thing or two… If half these guys would watch these videos, it would so reduce the piddley repairs. Im so surprised the utv’s are so so so 0 2 thin. Having done race prep i see quite a few common issues most chassis have too.. you guys are good

We had a 1965 Wurlitzer Model 3010 (50 records) as kids in Phoenix. I think yours is a 1965 Model 3000 (100 records).

CURIOUS, does anyone in Glamis or Gordon’s provide recovery with a serious rig, that will carry people in a cab. I.e. Irs, 4wheel, big horsepower, winches, boom and capable of pulling a sand dune specific trailer. Just a thought, good job on the videos.

Thank you for your response, sounds slow and expensive, do you think a tracked vehicle say with a full-sized pre-runner on the hook or with a high floatation trailer could climb the China wall, and if so more than 2-3 mph? Harvey, I know you from somewhere? I am a fab guy who built a lot of race cars through the 80’s-2000’s all factory stuff, then retired and did independent tuning and chassis work for a while finally after 35 years took a break and been playing with my collection of Motorcycles and Boats. But recently been thinking@@duneaddict you are from San Diego?
