Thousand's of dune enthusiast's showed up to Glamis Sand Dunes this President's Day 2015. The weekend started on Friday The 13th. There were several rollovers, crashes, near misses, and a Polaris RZR XP 1000 caught fire. Overall, it was an action packed 3 days in the largest sandbox on planet earth.

My best riding buddy was killed out there in '99. Got hit by drunk teens in a 4x4 at night. Seems so recent, like yesterday. Really miss our riding trips.

If this pissed people off I don’t care, how I see stuff is if ur on a dirt bike or four wheeler or in a truck side by side or something wear a fucking helmet for your safety and other people’s safety I don’t care if your rich or poor get a fucking helmet.

Thanks. I still ride on occasion with his brother. Just before I got the 'Desert bug' and started to go regularly, I got my EMT certification, and have been able to help others on occasion with their injuries, often in our own group. Be safe out there.
