I really want this palette but I think it's more because of the packaging. It'd look so cute next to my cake palette but I'm not big on reds or pinks 😭 I'm trying to stay strong but jeez, GlamLite really knows what they're doing with this adorable packaging!

@@Maser50007 I guess that's the one! Just googled it - it's called the Venus III palette. I would say it's more of a pink and magenta - there isn't really a purple in there (though it would have been nicer if there were at least one, tbh :D).

I have the pie Palette and I didn't think about how similar those are but the red shade, the theme of the Palette, was already in the original cake Palette! I honestly feel like this is nothing new and I'm kinda mad I ordered it tbh

i’ve always wanted to try glamlite’s formula because i’ve heard it’s amazing. i was a little surprised that there wasn’t a true red, a blood red or deep raspberry shadow. i still think it’s beautiful and i still want to get this eventually. i hope it’s not limited edition. i really love the look that you created. you’re absolutely adorable 🥰

It has to be a brand that is special to me for me to overlook the darkest shade being a shimmer - especially a 12 pan. It was an easy pass because I have their Meat Lovers Slice 🙂 - and the Pie Palette, which I have yet to use.

idk where you live but glamlite has a ton of european retailers. It‘ll just probably take a while until they get this palette

Indie makeup basically means independently owned brands. Smaller brands that usually only sell online through their own website. They dont tend to be carried by retailers, and they are most often run by a very small group of people. There are exceptions of course

I think it's crazy that a red velvet cake palette doesnt have a true red. And there is only 1 reddish shade. They basically made a pink and purple palette. I was disappointed.

I think this palette is great and honestly, who doesn't have reds from other palettes? I find it odd when people complain about full complete palettes when even people with minimal makeup tend to have other makeup. Makeup is fun bc we get to mix and match, have fun

I believe the problem here is that it is supposed to be a red velvet cupcake palette and it is not. I certainly was hoping for a more red color story and one with dark browns mixed in. It is what it is and I'm not buying it. I'm ready to make my own red velvet from my singles/depotted eyeshadows just to do the red velvet theme better and the best I can with what I have. I think that would be a fun to do.

LOL! A "Red Velvet Cupcake" palette and not a single actual red eyeshadow!! 😂🤣 Sorry but JSC Blood Sugar is still gonna be my holy grail red palette. 💉❤️ This is a cute magenta/fuchsia palette, though! That shimmer formula is bangin'!! 🙌🏼

Nope. This palette is boring, the tones are too close to each other, so there's no contrast or diversity. Shame tho, they can deliver on the shimmers (a purple or true red shimmer would have elevated this palette). I love the look you miraculously came up with but I don't think there's much more to in the palette - without looking the same. 💜❣💜
