Glass Bottom Boat Adventure in Shark Lagoon / Ripley's Aquarium of The Smokies + Penguin Encounter

Just heard Stan Lee passed away . Met him a couple times and am sad to hear this . RIP

I was on my honeymoon last week when I saw you and The Carpetbagger walk out of the aquarium. I freaked out for a minute. My husband asked if we should come and speak to you guys and I was too scared to. I’m such a fan of you guys!

Your adventures always help me when I can’t travel due to work and school. Thanks for always taking me to new places I never knew existed or have always wanted to go. Much love.

Great video! This vlog gave me the feels! My sister who passed away last year loved penguins. Her whole cubicle at work was loaded with penguin stuff. When she was diagnosed with cancer, her boss had t-shirts & bracelets made up for her whole department saying "Team Jennifer freeze out cancer" with penguins on them. We even had a penguin put on her headstone. She was always saying that her dream was to hug a penguin. She never got the chance. Her work adopted a penguin in her name. They get updates from the biologist that is studying them in Argentina. The one they adopted is a little female that they named Jennifer after my sister. She is currently sitting on 2 eggs at her nesting location. I plan on one day doing the penguin encounter at the Detroit Zoo for her. 🐧❤

And Michael Pops up in the tank lol I think this place is going to be at the top of my list to visit the next time I’m in Gatlinburg :-) Alot of beautiful stuff here I had a fun time watching man that was awesome

Saturday (Nov.10) was the 43rd anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. That song is so haunting. Thanks Adam!!!

Aquariums are so fascinating... When I worked for Disney, I used to go over to The Living Seas and just sit at the big window for hours. The penguin is beautiful! I think he liked Michael! Seeing those people walking in the tube from the glass bottom boat reminds me of Jaws 3. Still waiting for those underwater cities of the future! Nice job as always Adam, will have to check this place out next time I'm in GB.

I was there 4 years ago, but didn't know about the glass bottom boat ride so maybe that is something new. Thx for the great vlog!

One day I'll ride the Glass Bottom Boat hopefully. It seems cool. In my Ripleys video with NTL I said it reminded me of the Willy Wonka boat scene for some reason lol. That is awesome y all got to be up and personal with Joe the penguin. The penguin are definitely one of my favorite spots in the aquarium. Amazing video!!! Plus the ending was hilarious!!!

I was there back in Sept. I love the conveyor belt that takes you all around the bottom of the tank!

This is the BEST - Aquariums AND Adam the Woo? Is it Christmas??!! I'm an aquarium keeper who will never get to see that place as I cannot travel. So awesome to have such a personal tour with all the extras!

Huh. I hadn't thought about this for 40 some years, but when were young, my big brother and I were kinda body surfing- I never learned to swim. Anyways, we saw those rays but didn't know what they were at all! I kept saying "look @ all the happy faces!" Then he got stung! Of course I didn't know that at the time. He just got all hard armed and I wasn't safe anymore. I panicked screaming and swallowed alot of water, which I threw up almost immediately. We had to be rescued, by oceanside ca lifeguards, ect, like I said, I was very young! Thanx again to u Guys! We spent that night in hospital, and the rest of the summer on restriction & double chores! My parents were pissed! Lol! Memories...

They say they are the World's Best Aquarium, but the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta blows this one away. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice aquarium. I visited there a few years back.
