Maybe next time try using the right tuning and put in the chord fills. Alot of nuance that I pick up while listening was missed. Great job anyways. Loved the facial expressions like in the live concert video

Awesome cover. That ending riff has always been one of my favourite mosh riffs EVER. Also, legit just thinking about it... and was Josh Travis the first person to use a 9 string? It has to be a tight contest between Josh and Justin from AtB, right? Both in 2013.

@@MageroSTC Late reply I know, but ATB finished recording Wolves in 2012 apparently and nobody wanted to mix or produce and master the album so it got delayed a long time... so I'm sure they were the first to tune that low but they used 8 strings and sacrificed the high E, so maybe it WAS Glass Cloud? Crazy to think that they couldn't find anyone willing to work on what was an amazing album, they had to do it themselves in the end... massive shame.

There are chords being played in this song. The only string that doesn’t end up getting used in context is the high E. So I’d say 8/9 is utilizing the instrument for its capabilities. You can’t play any glass cloud song with three strings. Watch anything Joshua Travis has done in any of his projects to understand more.
