Mushrooms will definitely work for a meat substitute. Even tofu, but you have to freeze it first (firm) press it, crumble it, season it, bake it, and then take it out of the oven and sauté it with salsa and you’ll never know the difference. You can even use soaked walnuts blended with onions, seasonings, and mushrooms. Black beans mashed up with salsa and taco seasonings is really good with a flour tortilla shell. Either way you choose is going to be good.

YES YOU CAN Roast, grill or bake the mushrooms, try crushing with a rolling pin & wax paper (using hand method helps control the texture) or light pulsing in processor the walnuts or pecans a mix of two or three after (mushrooms & walnuts raw or mushrooms and pecans raw add any other seasonings and vegetables a little olive or walnut oil ) using the roasted, grill, or bake ( I used the oven first to roast then added them to skillet to simmer and make the grounded mixture as you would add all your ingredients as usual(red bell, orange bell pepper, onions, garlic, taco seasonings, sauces etc) simmer until the ground mixture is reduced to a filling to your liking and enjoy!

I’m about to cut meat out too. I used to use the Dr. Sebi alkaline list to eat better. I’m going back to that. Cleveland can use the portobello mushrooms and walnuts. Soak the walnuts overnight then ground them up to the texture you prefer, mix with the ground mushrooms and season it lightly until it’s the amount of seasoning you like. It’s easy to over season. I hope that helps.

I too am trying to substitute some meats, I can do veggies as long as they are covered with some kind of sauce, its the texture for me. So for spaghetti, tacos etc. I've been using mushrooms with whatever seasonings/sauces and add-ons and I also batter and air fry/fried them they're a good chicken substitute . The one thing I will not sacrifice is ground beef for a hamburger!

I usually use texture vegetable protein and add seasoning and browning sauce to make my vegan ground beef for tacos, etc. But for mushrooms, find one to your taste that tastes meaty and not fishy bc a lot of ppl use the wrong mushrooms. Cleveland needs to find a good protien powder for protien as well for energy boost so he doesn't feel like he lost some energy. I recommend highly Vega protien powder. It works. Ive been vegan over 10 yrs.

Yes! Hunni that yoni oil is remarkable. TMI; but after using the yoni oil in the shower a few times, I would use the bathroom and each time I would notice how super soaked that penguin was and said "daaaannnnng... what's happening here?! " 😂 However, I'm way too sensitive to it and may have to discontinue it. Ladies, that yoni oil is the truth though. Don't knock til you try it.
