I had the same issue I finally found a few things that helped me tremendously!! First moisturize then Clarins eye lift , once it dries I use becca/smashbox corrector/brightener (it’s also hydrating) I like Anastasia magic touch concealer you don’t have to use powder w it for dry skin but I use a tiny bit of the wet n wild photo focus on a hilighting brush and Pat it over the under eye… sounds crazy but that powder is even better than some of the high end ones I have used… but the Pat McGrath is good too if u want a higher end powder…if u want a drug store option for concealer try elf hydrating or for less coverage go w the nyx serum concealer… but putting the $$ into the clarins was the best thing I ever did it’s like an instant plastic surgery under ur eyes 😅 it lasts all day too!

I am a WOC and I really enjoy all of your videos and the care you take for each skin color and skin type. Whenever I use powder underneath the eyes- (I use a very light layer) and every. time. It settles into the lines under my eyes and it starts to look crackly. Also I often get mascara under my eyes throughout the day because my lashes are long. I use waterproof mascara. If I touch anything under my eyes then the powder starts to crack even more…. I’d love to learn how to use powder and not feel like I look 20 years older.

The beauty blender has a puff with a silicone gel inside and two sides. If you wet it with a moisturizing setting spray and then after powdering your under eyes lightly press it into your under eyes, t zone, and bring it up under your under eyes to make clean line between a cat eye and the lifted under eye/cheek. People don’t love it online but I don’t think they are wetting the puff with some illuminating setting spray. It’s so good for 30 and up skin to press in all foundation and powder and take away JUST ENOUGH powder where the makeup stays and absorbs oil. I love how you don’t overgeneralize makeup.

This was relaxing to watch while being simultaneously highly educational and I loved it ! Where do you get your powder puffs? I’ve had some that are sort of too stiff and difficult to manipulate in tighter paces like under eye and sides of nose. Your puffs always seem a lot softer and malleable
*I've been using a smaller brush* for powdering the under eye.. but yes, that powder puff looks pillowy and soft and supple... *gotta go find one.* ❣ 💯 👍🏼

I’m 61, not a spring chicken anymore, but I have to say for me personally, it’s the powder. It scares me because everything I’ve done to look the best I can is more likely to go downhill when applying powder. I absolutely love your look, your skin is so beautiful and flawless. Your a testament to everyone how important it is to take care of your skin. I love the way you do your foundation, it makes sense. This takes me back to Interior Design school and the teachings of color theory. A designer has the same concept as a Make-Up Artist. I think it’s a lot easier to design a home than it is to do what you do. Same concept but different tools and I need to say that you can never talk too much. This was a Great class with the perfect MUA and teacher. ❤

I followed the steps with the products I already had, I used two shades of the elf halo glow foundation and the drunk elephant b gold drops. I prepped the face with the drops and my glycolic serum. Then used the morphe continuous setting spray on top. Let everything dry and followed the makeup technique and I love it. I love your videos because it’s not about the product necessarily but the application and technique. It’s beautiful and I got so many compliments

Love how you apply the concealer just in the corner of the eye, it really helps against creasing. The corner is the one place that when we smile, doesn't move. 😉 😘

I thought I knew how to apply makeup however, I’ve learned many tips from u. I would love to have ur input on skincare for mature skin and how to prevent over applying to look as flawless as your models.
I use two foundation shades as well. Lighter in the center and deeper/warmer tone in the outskirts of my face. Although, I do like my cream bronzers too 🤎
