I NEED ADVICE!!! I have glass skin but I also have dark facial hair that grows fast. Need advice my beard hair are so thick I have to shave 3ways each time to achieve smooth. That messes up my skin for a few hours and also half a day I can see my hair under the skin coming through
Im 74 and I have glass skin. I've been using K Beauty products for at least 10 years. There was a shop in Portland called Pretty and Cute that was a Korean Beauty store. I consistently and faithfully use many products, including red light and internal supplements, and take Dr Rajanis advise about so many things. I still have lines in my face, but my skin texture and luminosity looks fabulous.
The effects of diet are really under discussed. I can make my skin look way younger by only doing vegetables and fruits for a few days & hydronated water. Intermittent fasting and 8 hours quality sleep too..all a massive game changer. Our skin is an organ and ages from the inside as well as the outside. High fruit and veg low fat diets result in super hydrated skin. I’m 56 and am getting great results now I’ve addressed the inside!. Much love🤗
Low sugar diet, No alcohol. Everything else will show minuscule effects High fruit diet means high sugar, no good. Not to mention our current fruit is crap for us, its lacking in nutrients and has too much sugar. eat more meat
That’s the key… exfoliation, nourishing and hydrating in a careful balance. I’m 60. People don’t believe I’m not filtering my photos. It takes knowledge, consistency and time understanding what that balance is for your skin. Glass skin even at 60 is a tbing
As a guy, I think glass skin makes women look plastic which is v off putting, especially when they go overboard on the cosmetics too. The most attractive skin is after a workout
You really deserve million and more subscribers! Im surprised that was not the case with the quality of content you have and integrity. Glad you are on your way to 1 million subscribers! Congratulations 👏🏼🎉 ❤
There's texture, and then there's texture. It seems all the influencere putting the camera close saying, "See, all skin has texture," irritate me to no end. Ma'am, I need a magnifying glass to see your texture, or at least my glasses on. You can see my texture from across the room. It is not an ALL thing. It is a DEGREE thing. If someone has to say they have textured skin, their texture is not your texture... That said, love this channel.
So glad to see a doctor who has done research on Korean products. I’ve been an esthetician for 20 years. It’s hands down the BEST I’ve ever used. My clients are so happy. I’ve got tons of before and after photos and Google review as to prove it.
Thank you for all the great advices you're giving. I'm European and like the "natural" look and use products that help me look great and hydrate my skin. I think my skin looks really good and dewy, but I see "glass skin" also as wrinkleless. Well I'm 43 so that's not going to happen, but that's fine. I think you can look healthy and great even with some wrinkles etc. I'm grateful that I achieved my skin results because of your videos. 🙏🏼
What do you use that you like? For me I always try new things but nothing gives results like what I DON’T do. (Avoid sugar, do not cut down on sleep time, avoid all processed foods consistently, avoid seed oils and foods fried on high heat, use cleaning products without toxins, same with skin care and perfume. Recently I’m trying to just wash my face with water and remove makeup with coconut oil. My skin looks better the less I do! Moisturizing can be a trap because your skin doesn’t have to produce its own moisture when you apply it. Is the store bought stuff better than what your body produces naturally? I don’t think so.
KBeauty products are so superior and affordable. I converted a few years ago and get asked about my skin a lot. Plus the usual retinol and sunscreen of course
Got to agree with you about the east, in the west we tend to cover things up with makeup which just masks the problem, but in the east they tend to solve the problem. Maybe the Korean step routine is a bit much but is better than covering the skin with just makeup.
So very true. Now that I’ve been working on my actual skin, I prefer to go without makeup. A little concealer under the eyes and that’s it. I feel my face looks BETTER without wearing foundation and a face of makeup.
I found the more skin products I used the more my skin barrier deteriorated. Too much clogs pores and doesn’t let skin behave normally so it gets irritated. I now use much less. Niacinamide, cq10, I hate vitamin c, Azalaic acid and moisturiser. Always spf but not every two hours (I used a light natural tinted mineral brand) bc my skin hates being pasted with ss every 2 hours and mineral lasts longer unless sweating, swimming or wiping off.
Maybe it's played up for social media, but when I hear "glass skin," it just looks oily to me. I understand people want skin to look smooth and bright, but shiny? I don't get it.
I think skin is inherited by your parents and as you grow up hormonal changes change skin. Diet, sleep and staying well hydrated with pure water are the biggest factors in having nice skin.
@@rajanimdskincare That's what my mother told me when I was young so I began to wear sunscreen every day when I go out. I've been wearing LaRoche Posay Tinted Mineral Light Fluid Sunscreen for a very long time.
I prefer peach skin to glass skin, why why I want to look healthy and radiant i never ever think in terms of ‘success-status-money’, that’s just ludicrous 😂 I guess my value are off mainstream: living a full life with an open heart does not cost money , and ‘success’ for me is how connected I am with my innermost ( divine) essence , how aligned I am with my soul, how deeply I LOVE 💖Because, 🙃ultimately , that’s what life is about. I do not chase after some made-up beauty ideal , just want my looks to reflect my inner self. 🌸🌈❤️
Glass skin is not that important to me. My eyelids are getting hooded and I’m starting to see little jowls next to my lips. That’s my problems. I’m not too bad for 57 but I wouldn’t mind turning the clock back to 43 44 45
I'm a rare breed amongst my majestic species. I'm one of the few that has amazing smooth skin, as you can tell by my handsome profile picture. No real secrets except flopping around on the beach and plenty of seafood.
Can low dose accutane control my oiliness and give me glass skin?? 😁 My dermatologist put me on it for my oily scalp but perhaps it's also beneficial for my face, what do you think doctor?
Dr Rajani have you seen the episode about a glass skin product on the super fun and chic series called Emily in Paris on Netflix? The episode is about a Korean facial product that was first marketed as a vaginal lubricant and then rebranded as a super high end facial serum that creates a glass skin look 👀 it is hilarious! 😂
Ppl tell me I have glass skin and what do I do? It's not! I have pores and wrinkles - I'm nearly 60. I stay hydrated, clean my skin religiously, and live as healthily as I can. I stay out of the sun, etc. My mother and grandmother are the same. Genetics!
Snail mucine essence = glass skin. Snails raised in healthy, humane and non-harmful habitats. No snails are ever harmed. This is not greasy and with continued use, it helps the skin stay plumper and dewy.
I microneedle sometimes and recently used the SKINN exfoliant. (Recommended by Bryan Johnson) I only use a retinaldehyde cream two to three times a week. If you do not use good sunblock, the redness on my cheeks for days afterward the exfoliant was visible and hurtful, with light sunblock. I am getting a hat now! I am 68 and have decent skin. I don't have extensive wrinkles but some, mainly near the mouth ends. Oh, my cute, youth dimple on one side has become a longer and deeper one.
I get glass skin every time I go to East Africa, I guess it's the climate... At home (Europe) my skin is super sensitive, dehydrated and fragile, no matter the skincare, treatments etc., and there bam, glass skin with the most minimal routine.
I would kill for glass skin. My husband worked for a Japanese firm. The executives wives had the most amazing truly glass skin. Stunning to look at. Nothing comes close.
The shiny, damp, pale attributes of "glass skin" doesn't, at least to me, resemble the look of good health. It is an historical throwback to the pale skin of aristocrats who were too pampered to ever be required to be exposed to the elements. However unpopular today, the look of healthy skin to me is that lightly sunkissed and flushed look from healthy exercise and reasonable exposure to sunlight. (Just my opinion. Ignore it if it offends, please!)
I absolutely love your videos. Great info and philosophy. I send them to everyone and recommend your products. Personally, I have zero interest in “looking perfect.” I don’t think anyone even knows what that is, and it seems to change from generation to generation. Seeing an AI image of yourself as “perfect” is creepy. I’ll stick with just being imperfect me. I am frequently complimented, and I think it’s just because I have taken care of my skin and body since I was a child (wonderful parents), and I don’t bother with makeup. If I get a pimple, the world can deal with it or not look at me. 😂 Thank you so much for your insight. I love the confirmation of “step by step.”
My humble opinion is that "glass skin" is a little too shiny. I've never seen anyone here in the U.S.A. with a complexion like that. It makes me wonder if they ever got to enjoy living life outdoors in the sun. 😊🌞🌻🌴
A Korean peel off mask is being touted as good to put on over evening skin care and before sleeping, to prevent skin care from coming off on your pillow. Do you recommend sealing in evening skin care during 8 hours of sleep?
Glass skin= tretinoin and lots of oil with vaseline. I alternate the days. 10 steps if you have nothing else to do in life. glass skin girls seem to be teens and possibly use filters.
Asian genes are definitely a plus! Although, there is beauty in every race as long as people do facial exercises, workout and eat well. Of course, beauty is forever in the intent of one's heart. 🎉
"Glass skin" looks like skin that's either incredibly oily, layered with a mess of excess product which is not only highly impractical but a waste of money, or skin that's tight with a compromised skin barrier. I'm willing to bet that the last two are the main driving factors behind every single influencer on social media with so called "glass skin", of course with the help of ring lights and filters. Skin that isn't excessively oily or tight and dehydrated with a compromised barrier just ISN'T shiny, it's just not. Dewy when adequately hydrated and moisturized, especially after just exfoliating, yes. Even more so if you use a retinoic acid like tret or taz which definitely helps to give your skin way less texture in a way that's unique to those drugs. But if you're using those drugs correctly and you're not overly sensitive to them to the extent it's broken your skin barrier, then you probably aren't going to end up with the excessive and unnaturally shiny look of so called "glass skin".

I am experiencing complications with PRF EZ gel and needing advice on how to move forward- I dissolved my filler in March and experienced volume loss in my face so I decided to try PRF EZ gel in May. Since this was right before my wedding, I panicked and made the unfortunate decision to get TWO kits of ez gel done in one session. About 5 months has passed and I believe there is still gel there, or it has continued to make my tissues look puffy/swollen. Is there anything I can do to make my body absorb it quicker or get rid of the puffiness? Looking forward to hearing back from you.
I cant trust you anymore You told us to use castor oil you You then did a programme on your top 10 oils and castor oil was not in your top ten, Make your mind up, I am sticking with my castor oil now
