I believe Toshiba had that tech on their first 3d TV, but the problem is that as soon as you move away from the precise glasses free sweet spot, the whole picture is blurred an impossible to watch. Should consider replacing the title to a more appropriate "Yesterday Daily"
I like the glasses free 3d theater prototype, i remember when "3d" TVs were announced and was disappointed because they had glasses and were dependent on 3d made content, how is this different from my regular tv that I can watch 3d movies with glasses as well? And they were gone now and replaced by 4K which still needs content because HD is still not there yet so 4K is like 5G reception
1. people that need to wear glasses so they end up putting the 3d glasses over their regular glasses 2. people that enjoy watching movies that don't look like crap because most 3d movies are just post processed shit that wasn't actually filmed with 3d cameras 3. people that get headaches from 3d because of how much it strains eyes if exposed for longer ammount of time 4. people that live in foreign countries that have to watch movies with subtitles end up watching the subtitles move all over the bottom of the screen. One line might be at the bottom right, the next would be centered and the next in the bottom left. It's distracting and the only reason they have to do this is because if you don't you will have parts of the subtitles on top of the 3d effect which would ruin it even more 5. people that don't want to spend 2 or 3 times more on a ticket just because the movie isn't available in 2d Also, it doesn't add anything to the movie and usually is just distracting. What happened to if it's not broken don't fix it?
Bleack Did you not watch he video? It says that with this new technology we wont need glasses in order to see the movie. That gets rid of 3 of your 5 points.
