Glastonbury Abbey's herb and medieval kitchen gardens. 

A short walk through the hedge into the abbey orchard finds our popular herb and medieval kitchen gardens. The kitchen garden grows produce to be used in our Abbot's Kitchen displays and activities and the herb garden hosts a variety of traditional herbs which may have been used in cooking at the abbey during the monastic period.
These gardens are a very interesting part of the abbey site to visit and are marvellously maintained by the grounds team and volunteers.
