On May 8th 2023 the abbey hosted its annual open day where the community is invited in free of charge to enjoy music and activities across the abbey grounds. This year's event was staged in conjunction with the town council and was brought forward to be held earlier in the year to tie in with their coronation celebrations.
It rained! A LOT.
