Glastonbury festival 2013: how was it for you? 

I'm the fellow at 3:36 on the left in the Primal Scream top. I'm happy to report that Jack did indeed cry and Lauren did indeed flash.

This was my first year at Glasto... actually only rained one day and then the sun was out and I loved every minute of it. Tried every year to get tickets with no joy. Happy to say I got resale tickets this time! YYYYeeeeeeeeHHHHaaaaarrrrrrr I'm going to Glasto. I.m a big Muse fan so even better, seen them six times but I'm good for seven, Not gonna chase bands this time just roam around a bit more and soak up the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there, sat watching the "wimbledon" match.

The festival has never been the "Pilton festival". The very first was called Glastonbury Fayre, and I went to it, and the 1971 fayre, too. Describing our town as "dull" has obviously made by someone who has never visited it!!

'Stolen our towns name'. What? Are you 10 years old? The festival is also a good 6 miles from the town, you deserve free tickets because the festival brings a bit traffic and noise for one week of the year? You could always just take advantage of having such a great festival on your doorstep and get involved. I'm sure the festival brings more benefits to the area than you'd like to admit, not to mention the amount Eavis donates to oxfam/greenpeace every year despite only just breaking even...

OK now if I ever visit England I know when I want to go fuck yes this is my type of festival awesome!

Too right mate - it should still be called by its original name "the Pilton pop festival".They need to keep some distance from that dull town - made famous because of its proximity to the festival and because of the Tor.Every shop appears to sell joss sticks, over priced coffee and wind charms - what a nightmare!

How was it for us? Ask the people of the real Glastonbury, the town, how we feel about our area being taken over by disruption, yet we get no acknowledgement of that by St. Michael Eavis. One would think that we would get free tickets to this annual bash. Not a bit of it! Eavis has stolen our town's name, too. No recognition of that either.

Can't wait for next year taking my 5 year old lad with me

Uk demonstrates how it still has great tradition in rock and indie music, by the way, this festival looks like a vaste, miscellanous mess! :P
