It could be fun to see a video on all the crochet pieces you've finished because I've only ever seen your wips at the beginning. No pressure on that though. Always love your color choices.
5:23 this fog you’re describing is very understandable! I think it is totally human & natural, especially as you transition into different phases of life. Proud of you for exploring ways to keep growing creatively & authentically ❤️ you got this! ✨
I hope you get to read this. I feel very sympathetic, even empathetic, to your situation, and to you in general. I have loved and done art (as Julia Cameron would say - have BEEN AN ARTIST) my whole life. I married at 23, I am accepting mental assistance. But I have not yet fulfilled my dream, or "calling", at creating art for a living. And for that, I am super inspired by you. I hope you don't feel bad or regret over having those "career jobs", and directly started earning a living doing art. No, babe.. this is the dream. You are doing it right. I hope I can make it there myself one day. My therapist actually suggested the Artist's Way for me over 2 years ago, but I've only just convinced myself to start after watching Tiffany's videos. Seeing you start this journey too, almost feels like I'm going through it together with a friend. I'll be very interested to see your doings and thoughts on it. I know the affirmations can be hard, so if you'd let me - I want to give you some. Affirmations about you, from my perspective. You may not agree or them the same way - but know that there is a real person out there (I promise I'm not a robot) that does think about you this way: Your face looks to me like depictions of beauty made by famous old time painters. Truely, when I see that light fresh makeup on your glowy face filling the screen, I cannot look away. It's as if there's an angelic ora around it. And I get super inspired to draw - but I'm still working on portraits. Your art shows your passions and joy of the process. Your eye for detail is noticed and valued. Your photography and editing styles make your videos feel intimate, and authentic, and are mezmerizing to watch. The way you open up on camera for the world to see, doesn't make you volunerable - it's making you a superhero, with super strength, and it empowers others. Your emotions on camera radiate strength and confidence. I know nothing on the internet is as it seems, I know people on RU-vid have problems, I know their lives aren't perfect - but just know that whatever it is, I think you can handle it. Because you are surrounding yourself with the right support. Ups and downs are normal, it's literally a part of life, that's why when it ends it's called "flatline". I wish for you to believe and embrace these words. I wish for me to believe it when someone else says those to me too.
I’m crying that beanie is adorable 😭 it really does look like Finn! Good luck in your artist way journey! This is my first time hearing about it and it seems nice! Sending lots of love to you and your fam 😌❤️❤️
I think a book I could recommend to you is: Creative Demons And How to Slay Them by Richard Holman. It is honestly such a good book for when you need some creative guidance and reassurance. It's also easy to read which is fantastic since most books, I feel, can sometimes be difficult to comprehend when they get wordy. Anywhozzle, I love your work and I've felt similarly to you in the creative desert. But! Even in deserts there is life! So idk just know that you're not alone and that life sometimes gets in the way of being an artist. :)
