Damned good tutorial. This is going to help me finesse a process I sort of intuited, but didn’t really get quite right. It’s so weird how a little thing like the direction of the brush strokes themselves can actually *change* how colour works, that’s basically science!

this looks amazing man. Do you have intentions of painting a Mortarion? i love your Death guard army but it lacks a Mortarion. He would look amazing in your Paint style.

Great idea! I haven’t painted one yet and you’re right, it would be a big job BUT I think I could have a lot of fun with it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think you are loading your brush too much. This is a mistake I also often make. How thin your color is is also important, but the amount of paint in the brush even more so. Also, try using as few brushstrokes as possible for the best results

We can blame my amateur camera work 🤔 there’s a light transition from a light, coffee coloured brown back into the bone colour. In the full length video the shots may be easier to see for you 👍
