@@charlenerafferty3534 when Burt says kansas and Kurt will start to sing wizards of oz and lions bears oh my in Alvin and the chipmunks version if Ryan Murphy edit that in one day
I love those moments, where Burt gets protective and angry, and says something without thinking, and Kurt puts him right back in his place. They just move on, because they've both matured and they both understand that the other is not perfect.
@Gryffinclaw Glee Girlish burt was saying that he played football like one of the defense line or the attack line, so he was or is very strong, but kurt played like a kicker and the kickers doesn't have much strength
My dad said something similar once just not quite so gently. It was more of "Make sure I'm there so we can kick their ass together" to which I naturally responded with "Are you sure you can keep up with me old man?" which sent him into hysterics. I've never seen him laugh that much since...good times.
Burt must’ve been so scared when he heard about this. “They could’ve had a gun!” He just lost a son, just thinking that he might have had lost Kurt too is killing me!
Man Kurt and his dad have such great chemistry together Btw chemistry doesn't always mean Romance it just means that they get along and work off each other well and can show a believable relationship
I think so too. I mean, by how they interact, you can believe that it was just the two of them against the world for a very long time. Idk, they have a very cute relationship
Well said, and I couldn’t agree more. Burt is an amazing father and man. He realized his childhood mistakes and bettered himself for his family. Admirable.
I absolutely love the relationship between these two. Now this is what you call real parents who accept their children when they come out and stick with them through thick and thin. Every parent should be like this when their child comes out. If they did the world would be a better place. I love Burt
@marybethlindsay279. My mum's like the female version. I told my mum on Facebook back in May that I'm Gay and she's always be ok. I used to get musical CDs that was me hinting to her that I'm Gay
Burt really is an amazing father. It’s too bad that people like him are so rare. Same with Kurt, people who not only accept who they are, but embrace and defend it.
@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 I’m very happy for you, and proud. You should never be ashamed of who you are, and anyone who says otherwise isn’t worth your time. I know what it’s like to be judged and it sucks, but stay strong my friend. Be proud of yourself.
Burt was exactly why I came out to my parents. i was very afraid of the risk of coming out and possibly being kicked out, but his sweet acceptance of Kurt made my heart melt, amazing father.
Kurt had an AMAZING father. I used to envy Kurt so much. I always wanted a loving, kind, understanding, and genuine father. Burt loved his son unconditionally. It's always made me tear up because growing up I saw so many people with amazing fathers and it was a constant reminder that I wasn't the son my father wanted. Or as he poetically put it " expected ". So I said one day I'm going to be the father I always wanted and more. I know this is just a show but it was always so beautiful to see because I didn't have that, and at 32 years old, I still don't. I blamed myself for decades thinking that there was something wrong with me, it took me a long time to realize I wasn't the problem. Kurt was so blessed.
Amen. It’s a shame that fathers like Burt are so rare. As you said, Kurt is truly blessed to have Burt as a father. Nobody should be ashamed of who or how they are, as long as they’re not a Psychopath or a r*****.
I wish they dedicated the entire episode to Kurt, not to Samcerdes and the others, i mean, 1. the episode is called BASH, 2 they only show us like 20/45 min of Kurt and then he sings and that's all. 3 having been hit like that and with a brick I think that not leaves those "marks". 4. they didn't say anything more 'bout this; is important to be hit by homophobics and almost killed, and this has been happening like forever, and they didn't mention anything? pd: love Kurt and Burt's scenes ❤
That's how I felt about "On My Way" in season 3. I wish they would have dedicated the entire episode to Dave, who is an amazing character with maybe the best development of anyone else on the show. And completely underused. I hated that they also tried to cram in a competition storyline AND throw in the Finchel wedding at the end. Every scene with Dave in that episode is SO powerful, and he only really had two. I get that his storyline was an undercurrent to the others, but he truly deserved that whole episode. Such a waste of a great character.
I was watching Kurt visits Burt in the hospital this was on my recommended so I clicked it now on my recommended is Kurt visits karofsky in the hospital. Kurt is always in the hospital
I wish Finn was there and say to him “ you shouldn’t do that Kurt I know I’ve been fighting to but at least I’m not in the hospital and besides why I let my own stepbrother getting hurt because I love him and didn’t know how I say it just be careful ok I don’t want loose you because you’re my stepbrother “
I worked with a guy just like Burt. He’s a good man and puts up with a lot (toxic ex-wife, manipulative boss, long work hours) but you come for his sons and it’s war.
I can only imagine in the scene where Kevin wheels his wheelchair over and then instead him missing and hitting the wall or the rope. Everyone having to stop again HAHAHHAHA and them telling Chris he has to keep lying in the bed AHAH
Burt is my favorite thing in the world his love for his son is so genuine and he doesn’t change himself and neither does Kurt he just really loves his kid
I love Burt and Kurt. Their father-son-relationship is off the charts. I love how open and honest these two are with each other. 0:12 , 0:26 and 1:25 Burt is the perfect father. He admits that he used to be very judgmental as a kid, but he’s making things right for himself and everyone else by being a very accepting and loving father to Kurt. He deserves a Father Of The Year award, and Kurt deserves a “Brave and Strong Person’s” award.
