I 100% agree, Matthew def did this song better. NPH is amazing, and most def can sing(dr horrible singalong blog, any one?) but Matthew just brings something to the performance NPH doesn't. My bestie and I where discussing that the other night, we just can't pin point the right word to describe what it is the Matthew has that NPH doesn't. What ever it is it comes across in every song/ performance Matthew does.
Everyone is sleeping on Matthew Morrison. He's amazing. He definitely held his own in this duet. They know how to play to each other's strength as both of them are great Broadway singers. Neil Patrick Harris is amazing, too. I loved the belt/ falsetto from him at the end.
I saw Jessie singing Rolling in the deep and thought this was some movie about summer music camp with some teenage drama going on (getting laid, getting better grades etc.). Imagine my surprise :)
The hard part is trying to stop him from singing (though nobody but Kaley cucuo has ever tried) Also, he was the main in a musical movie, lil thing called Dr Horrible's sing along blog
These two need to do more duets together, even to this day. Their voices mix so well together. They're incredible singers. This was one of the BEST duets on Glee, and I loved their Piano Man duet too even though that was super short. Loved this episode too.
This is one of my favorite performances ever on a television program. Morrison and NPH voices compliment each other so well. That final note that NPH belted out sent chills through my body. I've easily seen this hundreds of times already. Purely amazing
I'll never forget watching this in the living room with my family when it aired. My mom and dad both were blown away. 😂 I always thought my family was cool for watching Glee together. 15 Years later and it still amazes me.

Oh my gosh. Neil Patrick Harris with that scream *fist pump!* I know it's not likely, but I need more of these two singing together. They did such an awesome job! :D
I may have actually bothered to watch glee if Neil Patrick Harris was a main cast member, the guy is like a legend. Not to mention he has like Broadway and Dr. Horrible behind him with the singing, and that one number in HIMYM.
It really was a great show, even though NPH was only in that one episode. I think everyone should watch it all the way through at least once in their life. I originally thought it sounded dumb, till someone actually got me to sit & watch it. Now I consider it one of my top favorite TV shows, along with Dexter & Sons of Anarchy.
I think this is my fave preformance from glee, I keep watching it! But I really like the grit and passion they throw in the song... And those high notes like whoa!

Love these two. Love this arrangement. Wish they had not autotuned their voices to 'smooth out' the tone of their voice- as they do NOT need that much digital altering!
