They did this exactly as the original was done by Meatloaf. This song is off the Bat out of Hell album. Glee did an awesome job but nothing compares to the original...
@@Steel_blade_alchemist they did a 70s song 90s or 80s song (it's all coming back to me now I don't sure about the decade and a 2010s song (Edge Of Glory) That is a hell out of set list
It’s crazy how far they’ve gotten. The first season they would just wear matching coloured shirts and pants. Now they are performing like Vocal Adrenaline in Season 1.
There are so much things to see at the same time it's crazy! There so many dance steps and different dance moves at the same time that you have to watch several times to see everything and everyone
I actually find it hilarious that they performed a Meatloaf song and a Celine Dion song. My parents went to two concerts when my mum was pregnant with my sister, Meatloaf and Celine Dion. They named her Celine. But I like to think there was an equal chance she could've been called Meatloaf.
@@trevonte3723 But how did he get hired then? Hell, Kevin McHale is a fantastic dancer, and he played a paraplegic. Cory was also older than Matthew Morrison. It's odd to me that they hired a 27-year old who couldn't dance to play a high-school student, who was the leading male of the glee club.
@@Vanillastump listen to Naya Rivera’s book she states that he wasn’t the best dancer and that he was lucky that he was the lead because all he had to do was sing and everyone would just dance around him and your Cory being older than Matthew Morrison statement is false... Cory was born in ‘82 and Matthew was born in ‘78.
There wasn't enough screaming to be Amber. It was Lea and Cory with the rest of them as back up. Lea is the best singer there.. Amber was 2nd or 3rd best (Naya giving her a run for her money).
@@karenjohnson5711 LMAO. WTF! Amber is literally doing the last night at 3:47 and It was a known fact (even the actors/directors themselves) claimed Amber Riley as the best singer on the show. So what ever you say is an opinion not a fact, it's a fact Amber is the better singer.
W R I genuinely believe that Amber and Lea are equally talented, but upon listening I can distinctly hear Lea’s voice as the last note, it’s sort of an exhale, but it’s loud and on key
This was the best performance of finn finn nailed this performance and the amazing solo of Rachel when she said stop right there cory will always remain in our heart rest in peace cory we miss you
Ha ha I never noticed that! It's like they were just going "It's all male/female partnerships except for us so it'll be much more awesome if we danced together!"!
i saw first part two weeks ago (for the first time, and from this time i looked on it daily. And I read each comment on videos. I found one thing in this performance, Rachel touch Brittany and River, but doesn´t touch Santana :)
I remember watching this episode when it came out. When New directions had sang about half of Paradise, I knew they were gonna win. This is, without any doubt, their best performance, ever.
I remember every little thing As if it happened only yesterday Parking by the lake And there was not another car in sight And I never had a girl Looking any better than you did And all the kids at school They were wishing they were me that night And now our bodies are oh so close and tight It never felt so good, it never felt so right And we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife Glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife C'mon, hold tight C'mon, hold tight Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night I can see paradise by the dashboard light Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night (deep dark night) In the deep dark night Paradise by The dashboard light We're gonna go all the way tonight We're gonna go all the way And tonight's the night We're gonna go all the way tonight We're gonna go all the way And tonight's the night We're gonna go all the way tonight We're gonna go all the way And tonight's the night We're gonna go all the way tonight We're gonna go all the way And tonight's the night Stop right there! I gotta know right now Before we go any further Do you love me Will you love me forever Do you need me Will you never leave me Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life Will you take me away And will you make me your wife Let me sleep on it (Sleep on it) Baby, baby let me sleep on it (Sleep on it) Let me sleep on it And I'll give you an answer in the morning I gotta know right now! Do you love me (Do you, do you love me) Will you love me forever Do you need me (Do you, do you need me) Will you never leave me Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life (Do you never leave me) Will you take me away (Do you, do you) And will you make me your wife Do you love me And will you love me forever Let me sleep on it Will you love me forever Let me sleep on it Will you love me forever I couldn't take it any longer Lord I was crazed And when the feeling came upon me Like a tidal wave I started swearing to my god And on my mother's grave That I would love you to the end of time I swore I would love you to the end of time So now I'm praying for the end of time To hurry up and arrive 'Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you I don't think that I can really survive I'll never break my promise or forget my vow But God only knows what I can do right now I'm praying for the end of time It's all that I can do (All that I can do!) Prayin' for the end of time So I can end my time with you! (You! Yeah!) It was long ago and it was far away (It never felt so good, It never felt so right) And it was so much better than it is today. (And we were glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife) It was long ago and it was far away (It never felt so good, It never felt so right) And it was so much better than it is today. (And we were glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife) It was long ago and it was far away (It never felt so good, It never felt so right) And it was so much better than it is today. (And we were glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife) Felt so right! Felt so good! Paradise!
Choreographing this must’ve been a nightmare because everyone kept moving all over the stage. Like there is so much going on in this just one performance but they still manage to pull the focus on the main singers: Cory, Chris, Darren, Naya, Lea, Heather, and Amber.
Cory... We miss you so much... Thank you for sharing your talent with this world while you were here... hope you're doing well in the next. Rest in peace
In the original video for this song, Meatloaf and Ellen Foley actually made out during the song ON STAGE! Good thing Finn and Rachel didn't do that. It more than likely would've cost them the national championship. And we all remember what happened the year before and what Santana did afterwards.
