They are still friends but he's had enough of her bs that he's not going to take it. He's telling his friend what she needs to hear even if it hurts Tina's feelings a little bit. She was out of line for asking him to fall for her when she planned poorly.
In the first few seasons, Artie was so shy and kinda embarrassed by his disability, but by this time, he's slick, sassy, and so much more confident and brave, love how he's grown as a character
Artie's always been brave. Delt eith bullying hockey team liked take Artie's glasses. Puck once shoved Artie down stairs mentioned not shown. Puck locking Artie im porta potty got zhlw started. Artie spoke il to Karfosky in locker room tk stop picking on Kurt. Artie's gotten sassier but he's always bedm brave
You know what I like tina. She defently was much better in season 1 to season 3 but I mean cmon she never got attention and I get it that she acted like that in the other seasons . I feel like she is a character that the writers could have a printed much better.. well I LOVE JENNA and I feel like she was played..
Literally the way the writers ruined Tina makes seasons four & five borderline unwatchable to me. She was one of my favorites and I was excited to see more of her once Rachel graduated...but they just destroyed her and did everything they could to make her unlikeable. It literally pissed me off week after week to see how the writers made her out to be. Justice for Tina Cohen Chang!
You go Artie, I like Tina. But I like Tina better in season 1 to 3. I thought she could learn from Rachel’s mistake of being annoying with popularity, Tina could be Rachel with feelings, you know, be popular and still care about friends. Like Kurt.
Artie hardly gets anything he even got shoved out of new Rachel competition despite being one of best voices and forced into directing school play and Christmas special in s3
You know what, I am so glad that Tina came out of her shell and that she isn't goth anymore but they could have made her character transition less of a mess
Actually correction when she was went goth that was when she classic Tina but when she transitioned out of being goth punk that was when that was she more of a mess because not to mention she was actually trying to be the new Rachel and in whare she gotten to blind to see what she did artie
Glad Artie went batshit on Tina. Tina wasn't really a caring person like she was. She kinda turned into Rachel in some ways. The way Artie was describing how an alien invaded Tina's body and becoming shallow and desperate was brilliant. It was almost like Rachel is the alien invading Tina's body making Tina sound like Rachel. I know it sounds silly but that's the way I look at it.
at season 4, there's the breakup episode, where every single couple (maybe not all, but you know what I mean) break up.... now in season 5, all the friends turn into enemies (or frenemies) like Pezberry, Tartie, Kelliott... sigh, what was the writers thinking tho :/
nah sometime in s3 Artie and Santana became friends once no longer competing over Brittany. It just means Artie talked to Santana of all his friends who already in college most recently so he channeled her sometimes he talks like Mercedes.
I think Tina if she must be the new Rachel, became just as selfish as she was, once Tina complained that Rachel wanted to enter Nyada and needed the solo and now she needed to win just like Rachel
I know Tina was annoying this season, but Artie is terrible every season. He treats a lot of the girls he dates like trash and gets away with it because of the chair. Also, Tina needed the spot to get into college. I know Artie wanted to be valedictorian, I would too, but Tina needed it. He’s so unapologetic about being a terrible person, but no one says anything. Everyone, even the fans, love him.
Go rewatch seasons one and two I'm not going to say Artie is perfect but seriously Tina and Brittany where not good to Artie..and it's Tina's own dang fault for not applying to enough colleges.

Artie doesn't get whatever he wants because of his chair. In the pilot, some jocks locked him in a porta-potty and were going to flip him. Countless people have slushied him and bullied him and he has felt so self-conscious and alone. Remember in 1*09 when no one wanted to try to raise money for that special bus for Artie? And with Dancing with Myself, we saw his lonely side. Also, he did not treat his dates like trash. Brittany used him for sex and his voice which was offensive to anyone but especially to Artie considering his accident. And after Artie called Brittany stupid (Which I think is not that big of a deal), he came striding back in, apologized profusely, and sang her a song. I can also see how Artie could get offended by Tina's stutter not being real because he can't fake being paralyzed. And he treated Kitty so nicely, while it was her who made him hide their relationship because she felt ashamed.
She was the worst behaved senior yeah sure Sam was sometimes insensitive but he never Vaped anyone or pushed anyone out of wheelchair. Yes Artie asked Ryder dumb questions but they where just dumb questions and clearly off screen apology happened as Ryder seems to respect Artie after that. Yes Blaine cheated on Kurt out of being lonely and feeling like Kurt ignored him but I don't think the boys where as bad as Tina's 2 ridiculous stunts. Espically sense Artie and Blaine where very kind to her.
The way colleges work in this show make no sense. Why would a college or university even find out you were Prom King or Queen? Like how does that even happen for it to count against you, Tina?

Right because Santana manipulating Brittany into cheating on Artie with her is totally ok, eh? And then when Artie confronts her about it, she continues to deny it and mindlessly repeat what Santana tells her, but oh no, Artie calling Brittany stupid out of frustration completely negates what he said earlier and puts him in the wrong right? SMDH
He was only a bad boyfriend to Tina. Him and Brittany were great until santana broke it up, and him and Kitty were great until the season 4 kids stopped existing.
She been insane while time take stutter,vampire stunt to get her way. She cheated on Artie and blamed him. Then got mad at Mike for liking dim sum. Then whining and crying started. She channeled some of crazy at Mike's dad. You know everything else that happened Artie just didn't realize she was always crazy but did notice her being a b senior yr.
