Here is a short video of the harvest at GLEESON Farm in Victoria/Australia.
We had about 18,000 hectares of wheat, barley, rapeseed, lentils, lupins and Vetch to harvest.
We were 15 interns from Germany, Switzerland and Denmark.
With two Case Axial-Flow 9240 and a New Holland CR 9.90 with 13.5 meters of working width each, we harvested the fields.
For transport from the combine to the grain bags at the edge of the field, we used two Case Quadtrac 600 with Dunstan chaserbins.
The contract company AW Harvesting supported us with two John Deere combine harvesters, an S680 with 15 meters working width and an S670 with 13.5 meters working width.
In the power spikes, they helped to bring the grain out to the edge of the field with a John Deere 8430 and a Dunstan chaserbin.
A big thank goes to the brothers Tim and Richie GLEESON for making it possible for us.
See you soon!!
