Baugh has got to be the worlds most underrated guitarist...and of course Glen's playing is finally getting a little more recognition, when he's always been one of the best in the world...There's more than just Hendrix & Clapton, ain't there. ;-)

I know about Delaney Bramlett from his Delaney and Bonnie and Friends album and Glen Campbell I watched him growing up and he was a brilliant guitar player but I've never seen the guitar player on here before ...Wow that guy is absolutely amazing his tone when he gets that bend almost sounds like a saxophone ... when he is hitting the low note..then bends up about three notes

Very cool to see a young Delaney Bramlett, one of the greatest voices ever. Honestly, I was never a Glen Campbell fan although he was a talented guitarist.

...not to mention, his vocals BLOW AWAY Delaney's, LOL...sorry, much respect to Delaney, not taking anything away from him & his talent (or I wouldn't have posted this video) However, you would have to be the only man in the world to say Delaney voice is "greater" than Glen's???...I don't think so. BUT, lol, I respect your opinion. And without a rebuttal to your comment, then it would appear I agree....and obviously don't, lol....strenuously don't. ;-)

@@thediamondmine2263Delaney has a great voice as evidenced by his Friends collaboration. A much more soulful and wider ranging voice than Glen's.

Having a little fun spoofing the Beatles I'm guessing.

I speculate this was just before the Shindig! series started up.

It was. Joe Cooper didn't move to California from Kentucky until 1965 I think. I met with him in Long Beach back in 99. I have a friend who is his nephew and told me to go by and see him. Here's another little trivia fact. Joe took the gig on Shindig and passed up on another option. He could have been the lead singer for The Monkees.

@@thenewstuff3377 I thought Bramlett and Cooper were kept from greater success with their hopped up Everly duets by a lack of original material. They ably handled every cover they performed on Shindig! Interesting detail re: The Monkees. Thanks for sharing.
