Is there anyone listening in 2024? I can’t be the only one😅 what a beautiful soul Glen is! That pure display of gratitude from 4:16 is so touching. Rest in serenity, good Sir.
I’m 18 and he’s one of my favourite musicians I don’t understand how people can dislike this music it amazing and it has this feeling and personality that newer music doesn’t

Let's not annoint him for sainthood. He really ruined and was toxic for the life of Tanya Tucker who was so much younger. Way younger. Drugs did not help either. Campbell was the adult ---so much OLDER than Tucker and should have known better.
This man beat booze and made his peace with God, and is now surrounded by a loving wife & kids on his last tour. No matter what happens with the Alzhiemers, this man is a WINNER!
Glenn was performing when I was a teen. I didn’t care much. But now I see his talent and the ability to come from poverty to teaching himself guitar and actually having his own show and making a movie with the great John Wayne. That thrilled his dad. Glenn you are one of a kind and just fabulous!! And kind
Glenn Campbell was not only the most gifted guitar player of our time, but he put in a fabulous show every single time he sang. His voice was soothing and rich and fun. He was always kind to his audiences, and never sought accolades. He was really genuine. He gave a lot back to his parents. Built them a home near their church. Put a real toilet inside. And real mattresses. !! And he had his parents on his show. What a thrill for them!! A true Hollywood star!! Glenn you made us all happy. And you made your family very proud!!
Glen Campbell was a great musician and singer. He could connect with the audience and take you on a musical journey. And for a few hours forget your problems and those of the world. With his years of experience and musicianship, he made it seem effortless. R.I.P. Glen, the likes of you will never come again. The music of today pales into insignificance.
One of my favorite Glen Campbell songs ,along with Wichita lineman. I did a folk song report for my senior class English in 1972. The teacher was a snob and thought Glen's song weren't really folk too much country pop. I proved him wrong Glen was a musical treasure and crossed all genres.
I love what Merle Haggard said about him. He said if there was ever one person who was given too much talent in one body it was Glen Campbell. Rest in peace Glen and Merle - both amazingly talented legends
I was a Glen Campbell fans in high-school. Since then, I've loved all types of music. But I always listen to him when I need to reground. This song combines it all for me - singing, guitar, artistry and kindness. What a wonderful gift he is.
Actually he was very celebrated by the Opry and rock music. He was a Beach Boy!! I am 59 so to my child’s generation not so much . . . I guarantee my son who is now 30 knows Glen Campbell, The Beach Boys and the Eagles🤘🏻 let’s keep teaching the youth about what music really is👍
Oh, he wasn't underrated. If you grew up in the 70's, you knew who Glen Campbell was! We ALL knew he was one of the greatest guitarist of all time. And, he was from all the way down in Delight, Arkansas.
Today I heard this song for the first time. Oh do we all need to hear this. The planet is in such a turmoil now right now. Thank you Glen and may you RIP👏👍

I'm hopefully that there is aways room for the same talented people in the future of Country Music to carry on the Greatness of Country Music as the People they are ! As George Jones told Vince Gill. Don't be a copy, but be the You with what you know and You will be Thankful, But.....As Randy Travis said in a song.On the other hand?. Floyd Cramers Grandson Jason carrys on the perfect talents of his Granddad and some more of his own in the Greatness of what he play's today. Thankfully He Was Blessed With Great Talents to be admired by His Fans, One of many is me!! 🎹 🎶🎶💞🎶👍
What a guitar player!!! I had the priveledge of seeing Glen 2 nights in a row recently in Aberdeen. Honestly, words cant describe the mans talent and sheer ability on stage at 74 years of age, his voice sounded better than it ever has. God bless you Glen. xXx
I know this song by heart, it sure sends out a good message. Glen Campbell nails it with his singing and lead guitar 🎸 doing the song. A song worth singing that everyone relates to..
@@bigkm1974 I totally agree with you, My Man...I saw him in St. Louis...He did 3 encores before he HAD to leave or miss his flight...He was always a wonder to see on T.V. but absolutely BRILLIANT in person!...And incidentally, I'm also a guitarist...
Played guitar for close to 50 years and I have been to well over 800 concerts in my lifetime. Seen Glen Campbell 3 times and he just blows about anyone else I have even seen live.
If you see your brother standing by the road With a heavy load from the seeds he sowed And if you see your sister falling by the way Just stop and say you're goin' the wrong way You've got to try a little kindness yes show a little kindness Yes shine your light for everyone to see And if you'll try a little kindness and you'll overlook the blindness Of the narrow minded people on the narrow minded streets Don't walk around the down and out lend a helping hand instead of doubt And the kindness that you show every day will help someone along their way You've got to try a little kindness... You've got to try a little kindness... ; 7 ]
Glen can do this without the attack of distortion or blues drivers etc what an exceptional player absolutely incredible he was truly one of the best of his lifetime, few could emulate him
My motto is as same as you. He was impressed me with his song. One of my favorite country music singer. And I love to sing his song for Karaoke and with live band.
What superb guitar playing by Glen Campbell at his finest form! World lost an incredible talent - vocalist & guitarist. R.I.P. Mr.Kindness Campbell, you are much loved!
What a kind thing to say! We need more thoughtful folks like you. I hope one day we're all judged by the kind things we did in life and not those few errors we made in poor judgement.
Don’t underestimate how many people remember this great singer/songwriter/actor/humanitarian/recovering addict/husband/father/American patriot. I’m almost 70 and I don’t a single person from my generation who doesn’t remember and love Glenn Campbell! RIP Mr. Campbell 🇺🇸 🎸😉
OH can he play that guitar! I remember when my friend was learning the guitar and he thought Campbell was kind of square "ha ha Howdy Glen". Then his jaw dropped and he said "LOOK at him play that guitar!"
