7 months since our last outing, myself and Gerry were finally allowed to meet up for a grand snow climb mountain adventure. Where to go for our first outing in over half a year though ?

Love your films, I am also a film maker and I know all the hard work you put into your videos, ie choosing and setting up all your camera positions then having to double back to pick up the cameras also carrying a drone with you, all extra work but it's worth it I also see you use radio mics for excellent sound quality. Then there is the editing which takes hours to achieve to obtain your high standard. Your films are excellent and now that I am 80 I don't do the higher peaks ( bad knees now on the decents) . Keep your videos coming they're a tonic for all of us who love and appreciate the mountains.

Have heard the approach into SCNL as The HurtLocker . Always makes me smile. Really do work up a head of steam. Missed my Scottish trips last Winter. Great to see a bit here. take care A.

Finally allowed back out together- it was a long time coming!! The fish eye 360 lens isn't everyone's cup of tea but it makes filming a lot easier - especially when hands are required to climb the mountain (plus the fact that I smashed my good camera on a trip last week !! - Doh ) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

It was so good to get back :) we met a few people on the way back but not as busy as I thought it would be . Was up Ben Nevis on Friday though and never seen it so quiet 🤫 not sure that’ll be the case this weekend tho ! 😂 Thanks for watching ATB Murray

Really enjoyed watching this. And I love the brightly-coloured clothing! I love climbing and scrambling, but I have to admit, snow on very steep mountains makes me nervous. I prefer watching others do these kind of winter climbs.

Great video Murray, haven't walked in Glen Coe since 2018 as i've been focusing on the Cairngorms the last couple of years but this has reminded me of how great and accessible these hills are....cheers.

The equipment that was needed for a "Simple"? spring climb in Scotland was well demonstrated here, from the boots to the axe's to the extra layers all demonstrate the need to be ready for the weather and the environment wherever you be, go safe you two. P.S. I never noticed Gerry's watch (waterproof to how many fathoms? Scottish weather, I hope so)

I love broad gully, its marvellous. The snow looked bomber. The Bidean massif is wonderful, I think its my favourite of them all Murray. A really great video...regards to you and Gerry.

@@mountain_del1863 high just saw this. Dinner time Buttress is a nice outing..dont be put off by the veg low down there is a nice clean wee finish. The remainder of the face is serious terrain so stick to the ridge on way off and enjoy! The zig zags on gaerr aonach is similar and better imho . All best

had to try and catch some of the last remnants of the snow Gary! I think I have been out every weekend day since we were let back out and been searching the high spots for some snow on every occasion so you will probably see a wee bit more snow in the upcoming vlogs - if I can get them edited!1 headed out again tomorrow so may even get more snow - lot sof pictures of spring snow on the hills this week on SM :) Hope you are enjoying your new abode Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

Reckon there could still be a chance - was up The Ben at the weekend and lots of snow still in the high gullies - unfortunately the temperature on Friday meant I stuck to the ridges and crossed the softer snow ASAP! :) A good freeze over night might sort that though :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

I find your videos so inspiring and would love to go walking in some Scottish mountains. My problem is that I have limited time and it would be a 1000 mile return trip from Kent. I’ll have to make do with Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons

Hi - The overcoat I had on is from Keela (bought lots of their kit recently and it seem really good at a decent price), the midlayer is from mammut and is a midlayer as opposed to a jacket :) Hope thats helpful Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

Hi George I have an old mavic pro but TBH I hardly use it now, it only makes an appearance once in a blue moon. I tend to use old archive footage which I got years ago. The footage in this video was done using a 360 camera :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
