This man is a truly fine and genuine artist and human being. For example, I watched him perform at an arts festival(paid entry) and there were heaps of people around the outskirts of the venue, obviously liking what they were hearing. Anyway, Glen Hansard invited them in to join us, for free. Much to the disgust of security :).

This was the processional at my wedding. Today is our first anniversary and I am so thankful for this song. It never fails to bring a smile to my face and memories of that day to mind. Glen, I don't know if you'll ever see this, but thank you so much for this song and all the others ❤

I bow down to you my friend... the feeling at The Palais was wonderful, although i came to see my idol Vedder, you contributed in making his show one of the best ive ever seen.. sorry Amanda Palmer broke you on day 2 but that Hard Sun with you 3 was epic. Hope to see you again, maybe visit my island of Mauritius, let us let you entertain this little slice of paradise. Again thank you for those performances, that passion, that voice, your wonderful songs and hope you get a decent person to sit next to on your way back.
