I have reached out to JAAA multiple times asking how i can represent Jamaica at the World Outdoor Masters Championships and they havent felt it is important enough to respond. Jamaican field events carried the entire team in Paris. Time these athletes get treated with respect

Listening is a very important skill. She said she did not have her coach for two weeks before the competition to help her prepare. He said the coach was given a pass for the competition. That's two different things. If they try to bar her from the Olympics, the people should stand up for her. The leaders want to act out when they are called out.

This is happening too often. Frano and Glen Mills did say that the JAAA is the failure of the future Jamaican athletes. This is embarrassing.

It seems that the JAAA and the JOA want the spots for their friends and family… going along as delegation members. The sponsors need to demand a full breakdown of how their money is spent. Some people are only there for what they can scrape and the athletes don’t get the benefit. Blast dem, call them out on their BS and apply the pressure.

❤thank God Mr Glen Mills spoke up. I always say that athletes have no one to represent them. Jamaican Athletes deserve to be treated better from school years into adulthood. They train hard puts their best out there yet it always a problem to invest in them in more ways than one. I volunteered for years with a couple high schools helping as assistant with athletes so I know that better can be done to make them feel good about how they are treated. 🇯🇲🇯🇲💯

These Olympics have shown that Jamaica has the potential to have several Olympic champions on the track as well as in the field events if the field events athletes begin to get the respect they deserve. The impression I'm getting from the comments played is that she said she didn't have her coach with her for 2.5 weeks while Mr Watts is saying her coach had a pass to the stadium on the day of competition. Two different things. Lamara Distin, ranked #3 in the world in the high jump had the same complaint. Shaneika Ricketts had the same issue at a previous Championship if memory serves me correct. Her husband is her coach as well. A general coach will not have the intimate knowledge of where these field events athletes are at or be able to give them the individual attention they might need during the Games. An athlete could have picked up a minor injury or some other issue after National Trials and needs their coach's assistance right up to the moment of competition to get them ready. It's time the Jamaican officials start addressing the specific needs of the field events athletes as they have proved at this Olympics that they deserve better recognition and bigger share of the available resources.

On the day of the event was not her grouse she wanted her couch accredited so he could be in the village to help her with her workouts the two weeks prior to the event ...

Coaching passes for the day of the event is different from being given a pass to train the athlete prior to the day of the competition. The lady spoke the truth.

The Athletes should not have been sleeping in OVENS either, there should be scouts to assess the facilities. Australia traveled with some air conditioning units obviously ordered in bulk. This could have been ordered from China, nothing expensive but done for our athletes comfort as well. The Jamaica Netball Association ALWAYS done a proper assessment of the facilities for our SUNSHINE GIRLS. Thomas-Dodd's, who is also her physiotherapist was not given access to the training facilities. Do you think she would have performed so well at the Jamaican Trials if she was denied access to hear COACH two weeks prior? She should SUE them😎🏁
