Speaking of "Silver Linings Playbook", I didn't realize it was a romcom until like, the climax. It's a bit of a Trojan Horse romcom. And a good example, along with movies like "Hit Man", that RomCom doesn't mean one thing, it's an umbrella genre that can incorporate various different tones, types of storylines, and aspects of other genres. As long as there's a central romance arc and there's an overtone of comedy, it's a romcom--everything else is up for grabs.

TOPGUN Prequel requires Hollywood MAVERICK and ICEMAN on his wing. Tom already has permission from the NAVY...set up (After TOPGUN days), enters Test-piloting and after the passing of "Charlie" (car crash- obviously)...meets Penny as she is in town shopping for a bar. Cheers!!

@gcxlc I haven't seen the new top gun movie yet but I heard he's playing the blond douche. Definitely would hate that type. I haven't seen any movies of his, just interviews. Could you please elaborate what it is about glen that's annoying? Like, is there any video? I just discovered 2 hours ago that this guy is really intelligent & well-spoken (podcast, almost 2 hours). I totally didn't expect him to sound like that. I decided just today that perhaps I'd like to follow this guy's rise to stardom. But if you know of any video that showed his bad traits, please share. I'm curious. Thanks

@@reichen609there are none… the guy is non-problematic. The commenter just dislikes Glen for whatever reason, not because Glen is bad or anything like that. Glen always seems happy.
