When I first heard Passenger's version, I listened to the lyrics and said to myself "That's a country song." I'm glad such a great country singer covered this song that quite honestly needed a country version.
I just can't believe how talented he his if he just got a bad record deal or people behind him that just didn't do him right. How do you miss on this Man?
I love this young man's beautiful classic country sound. Remember the name Glen Templeton. He is going places. Beautiful sounds like this are not coming out of Nashville these days. Keep singing Glen, we love your style.

This is just proof that a well written song can cross into any genre and be great. Taking it to one genre or another can change the feel but you can truly feel a well written song.
Absolutely, I will add that it also takes a very talented artist to make that transition to another genre. Some can completely butcher a classic, but Glen Templeton is one of the best artists I've ever heard. Such a wide range of vocals.
I've done sound for Glen a few times now, last time a few weeks ago, he did an entire acoustic set himself. great voice, nice man. 10/10 on my country scale.

I just can't believe he doesn't have albums out there. I had a friend that told me about Glenn Templeton. What he'd it, blew me away. If you're good enough and they hire you to do a session with him. Then you made it my friend.
Truly when a real country singer sings this song do you realize that it was perfectly written for a country song. Glen does an amazing job of covering it, truthfully better than Passenger as it is a country song at heart.

I heard somewhere he happy with just playing small bars and sharing his gift with ppl like that. Doesn't really need the fame and fortune. I'm just thankful for the videos
Something quite interesting I found out today, im related to Glen by marriage, and just recently met him and he is a FANTASTIC person and an even better singer.
"let her go" there's a song that takes me back. 2014 feels so long ago.. and the memories made then, feel so much more... treasured. my friend was still alive. his girlfriend had passed away during a car crash a few years prior. he was driving. she died just 20 feet from the hospital doors. he never quite.. let her go. I came home one day, to find him exactly as I'd left him, bottle of beer in one hand, a photo of her in the other. he said something to me, that didn't make sense till after he took his own life a year later. "I hear her, man. she's calling me. she's gonna be so mad at me for being late." he was ready to go. every time I hear this song... I can almost see him in my mind, laughing, forever frozen in time, a memory of him laughing with her at something I said, backlit by the setting sun. Miss you Talon.
