Very interesting review. Glencadam is clearly bit hit and miss. I love the 18, but the 10 is a wonderful everyday dram.

This is available online in UK for £85 (from today it seems)...quite a price difference. Only had the Glencadam 10 and 15, prefer the 10 and not sure I need any other Glencadam. Enjoying the format with comparison bottles and value discussion into the mix. Great stuff!

Honest exposé on the Glencadam 15 White Port. The last thing I would want to taste in any bottle of whisky is vinegar... Ugh😖 After watching your live tasting with Claire Tesh, I got a bottle of the 13 yo. I'm glad I did. Lately Glendacam availability has taken a nosedive here in SoCal. The Origin and 10 are the only expressions on shelves.

I’m halfway down this bottle and vinegar I’m not getting, more like young white wine, like a Txakoli on the nose. To compare it to a well opened Glencadam 10 to a neck pour is a bit harsh.

Unfortunately, all age stated Glencadam bottles that are available in Bulgaria are Ds for value. The 10 yo price pushes 50 euros and the 15 yo goes for at least 95. 13 yo can be had for 60-70 euros. These are far from reasonable prices for our market so I pass. Arran 10 costs roughly the half of the price of Glencadam 10. And for the price of Glencadam 15 yo I can have two bottles of Glenallachie 10 yo CS or 15 yo. It is real shame as everybody and their brother from Western Europe points core range Glencadams as affordable whiskies. If I'm given the opportunity I'd gladly pay even German prices for them since they are lower than prices in Bulgaria, but hey... Cheers!
