Keith from the Malted Man Cave joins Mike & Dustin to review Glendronach 1995! Vintage 11/01/1995 was aged in an Oloroso Sherry Puncheon (cask #4941) for 19 years and bottled in November of 2014. 668 total bottles.
Yeah this is the RU-vid content I'm here for! I love the old Glendro tastings. FYI....just checked and Mike gave the Allardice a 91 score back in the day. This cask is basically a CS Allardice. Original retail pricing back in 2014 for this cask was around £109.99. I'd say buy all day at that price lol. Cheers fellas!
Great review guys - good to hear some differing opinions. TBH I get a bit lost with all the sherried single cask Glendronach’s out there, but there are some great ones.
Was excited about this review. I actually have a GD PX 1995 19 yr cask 4028 that I paid $137 back in 2016.. Still unopened and looking forward to opening it someday. I personally prefer oloroso over px, but they can both be good. Great review.
@@topshelfwhisky Of the annual expressions 12, 15, 18, 21 the 12 & 21 are Oloroso & PX, while the 15 & 18 are Oloroso. I prefer the 18 overall. I have yet to have a single GD PX single cask, but I will crack my GD PX someday.
