Yikes, I did that gig nearly 40 years ago, at the time it was a 40 year anniversary revival. There's a lot more video out there somewhere; as I recall, we broadcast live on BBC in a two hour Special. Many of us were in our early 20s and thought the original band members were so old! Thanks for digging up old memories!
I think my first show with a big band was Syd Lawrence probably 1974 maybe. Always loved chatting in the bar with Ronnie Verell. They made a lot of noise but hardly tickled the kit!
