I heard this on DWTS and it gave me chills. I replayed it for the dancing but also for the vocals. It’s just perfect…even better than the original. I hate when artists try to outdo each other when they cover songs and add too many runs and variations to sound more impressive but really they just sound self indulgent . Travis’ songs, especially this one, seamlessly blend the runs and falsetto in with the original melody in a way that adds something different while still maintaining the integrity of the original version and the meaning behind the song. I’ve been a fan since the single Believe came out. I still listen to that song and I can’t believe he isn’t a bigger star. He is so much more talented than so many others with more name recognition. I’d say he’s definitely on par with Justin Timberlake, Shawn Mendes, etc. It’s just crazy to me that they’re so huge when he deserves that kind of success. I do enjoy hearing him sing covers on DWTS and RU-vid. The Hall and Oates cover of You Make My Dreams Come True on DWTS was a showstopper. If you haven’t heard it then listen for the epic run towards the end of the song. One of the best I’ve heard and I’m pretty sure it was done live during the show. Simply stunning
