I met Daan when I asked him to collaborate on the title track of my album ‘THE DARK!’. It was the start of a beautiful friendship. As DAAN was going to join me for my Rock Werchter show we thought it would be cool to rework his classic ‘Housewife’ into ‘(Not A) Housewife’ as a live track.
The crowd went absolutely bonkers and as the requests to release the track on Spotify came pouring in, we decided to officially release the new track.
Based on the original track ‘Housewife’ by DAAN, I played on the original title turning the song into an anthem for the modern woman.
