Where is your tumor at? My brother in law have it behind the brain. Is fighting his life now.

@@hiimingkiong I had resection surgery and just recently had a good scan. I actually do a podcast called "Brain Cancer Podcast" and I'm working on setting the rest of the website up. If you want to ask me anything at all, you can email me at braincancerpodcast (AT) Gmail (dot) com and I'd do my best to answer any questions. I've learned a lot about GBMs and brain cancer in general. My name is Chris by the way. My tumor was right, frontal lobe with the IDH1 mutation and unmethylated MGMT.

Are you using the Optune cap? Basically IDH1 + MGMT mutation positive patients have better outcome. If you'll make it for 5 years, then good chances that you'll still be alive even after 20 years after diagnosis. Good luck!

The optioned treatments do not make the patient live longer, it makes them die more slowly. Watch videos of real people and the effort needed to apply them, the skin burns they cause, etc. and you will see how they impact one’s quality of life right at the time the time when the patient is in initial remission.

Dear all, my mother 77 was diagnosed woth GBM in May this year. We were suggested to do a surgery which resulted with little removal because of her left side. Additionally, the biopsy failed for some reason. My feeling is that there have been a mistake since 5 weeks after the surgery the tumor mass has doubled. My mother in the 6 postoperational week is feeling very weak and docotors dont reccomend radiotherapy but possible chemo pills with caution on side effects even suggesting that chemo might increase her chance of death. I am devastated, please help me please.

@@begotten59 my father gone through radiotherapy and now going through temozolamide 6month course, in recent scan his tumor is stable and the size remained same. To contact Dr kesari i live in India and it is financially tough for us to visit USA so i havesticked to the standard treatment here. I have looked out for other options within india but here the options are few and expenses are already high. No one should go through this this is very tough for the loved ones.🙏
