I’m hyped that tweek managed to get another major under his belt and silence the washed claims. However this is definitely just the beginning for dark wizzy. His work ethic and talent will eventually have him winning among the best

This was an incredible match. I truly believe it is going to go down as one of the best matches in Ultimate. I haven't been this invested in a match since the now classic Tsu vs Zero. Dark Wizzy was really able show his stuff here. He played out of his mind. He's reached the next level. He was SSJ2, now he's SSJ Blue. I hope other Marios follow suit. I'm want Zenyou, Prodigy, or at least Lui$ to be in that top 20 PGR rankings this season. Don't leave Wizzy out here by himself. Tweek was exciting. He showed off some new tactics this tournament. His wolf is absolutely terrifying. The tournament itself was surprisingly exciting through out. I kind of wish the absence of major personalities wasn't a big reason this tournament was so hype, but it was. Regardless, it's really just awesome that so many people are playing at this level.

SSJ3 is trash though so I put him on the Vegeta track, and DBS made Super Saiyan Blue look free through most of the series. There's clearly room for improvement, but that's Super Saiyan God SS Evolved/Royal Blue, Partial Ultra Instinct, God of Destruction, Full Ultra Instinct, Jiren, and Angel levels.
3:01 look how wizzy tilts his shield right here and how tweek misspaces the grab. I can't say for sure that the reason tweek misspaced it was the way that shield was tilted but if it was then that is some galaxy brain material from wizzy man
I feel like when TK said that Wizzy can tilt off of one game he was so right. When Tweek switched the Wario on the 2nd match Wizzy started to struggle to get a kill and started going for more desparate plays. After he lost that match I felt like he needed to slow down and play with fireballs more but he just started running at Tweek looking for combo starters and smash attacks but Wario waft basically gives a free stock if you try trading blow for blow with Wario.

Why did Tweek won? He only won the second set of 3 games, and Dark Wizzy won the first set, so its supposed to be a tie right? Why did they didnt go to a third set of 3 games? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Waft is kinda dumb imo. As the commentators point out, when Wario has it his opponent may as well be down a stock. Don't get me wrong, Tweek is a phenomenal player who could win without it, but jesus is the move kinda polarizing...
Wizzy needs to be able to calm himself quicker when in tough situations imo. If he can snap back to his calm and quick on the controller gameplay i think he'll win.
Wizzy is the best mario in ultimate. No question. And tweek. I hope he's ready for genesis, because the king is coming back. Good tournament. Lots of upsets. Season 3 looking nice.
Uncle Jae Dittos don’t determine who’s the better player, it just shows who’s better at a matchup. Wizzy isn’t as good as MastaMario at the Mario matchup, but he’s much better in most other matchups at a high to top level, so he’s the better Mario
EVO is the biggest tournament in the world, he lost the ditto to a man who doesnt care about traveling to tourneys like Wizzy. If MastaMario cared to travel for this shitty game he would place just as good as Wizzy. Unfortunately smash bros just doesnt pay bills, its just a fun game to screw around with
I like how everyone mocked his “22nd” tag and when he reaches grand everyone was quiet. Wizzy will just keep on improving and adapting and will silence hate every step.
ZSolid DanyS False, people saw he had the tag “22nd” and mocked his tag for losing to cosmos who is 23 in pgr and Maister in doubles. I bet they didn’t think he’d get 2nd at this tournament.

The top space animal has been better than the top Mario character every game so far, so I don't quite see your point. The only debatable one is Ultimate and the meta is still developing.
@@fangiscool1 I just mean that the Mario Archetype is gaining viability in the current meta, so much that they are almost in Spacies territory. Which compared to how bad the Mario/Luigi vs Fox/Falco matchup was in Melee is a huge improvement for the Marios.
Why does that make sense? Zero Suit and Fox aren't at all like Mario and Wario and yet they are EXACTLY like Mario and Wario. Something about that really does seem similar
BDizzle probably something about how both are filled with aerial battles, big explosive options with up Bs and up smashes with highly mobile characters

Don't play online, it's too laggy and the meta is about reads. Or at least try to open a private lobby with players from your area. Try to keep the language clean so you can get younger subscribers and get more advertisers. Bowser's better landing move is nair, not down B. Ganon can actually bait that and punish with warlock punch. Your best out of shield option is up B. And try to whiff punish with grab and if you're landing on somebody's shield try to go for the command grab.

What happened was that Dark Wizzy's defense had a hole in it figured out by Tweek, that's not downloading his whole moveset because he still had a hard time securing stocks against Wizzy, you're analysis is not accurate
Anthony Moro How can you say he struggled more here than Leo, Leo reversed 6-0 this man and struggled in each of those matches. Here he sat there cool, calm, and collected then proceeded to beat his opponent.
rensenware you think it improved? I feel like coming from winners fighting someone you are seeded to beat and already have beat in bracket isn’t really showing the strength of his mentality
People harp on Tweek and say he has a weak mentality, but he handled himself like a champ and kept his cool. Good stuff from Wizzy though, his season 3 is off to a very impressive start
It's funny... Tweek seems to play a certain variety at each tournament where he does well. When he plays Pokémon Trainer, he has a murderous combo starter in Squirtle, a surprisingly fast and early killer in Ivysaur, and a slow hefty tank in Charizard. The same is true at this Glitch. Wario is that crazy combo starter, Roy is your early kill boy and Wolf is the tank. Not exactly the same, but definitely a similar format of characters
I was rooting for Tweek but I was panicked for a sec because Wizzy had won 4 straight games and there was only 12 minutes left. I was like, either Tweek clutches this with three straight games or Wizzy wins and lo-and-behold, he clutches it. Props to Wizzy for the amazing Mario play.
I Vote For New Tournament Rules; 300% Stamina 3 Stock - King Of Fighters Stage Only. 😏. You don't have to like or say anything. I know its a dope idea. I play this way all the time.
Tweek Played great to win this tournament and looked fantastic when he went back to Wario. But if you're keeping the set count between these two players, they both went 6-6 against each other. I don't think its insane to say that Wizzy was the better player that night.
@@chiefbologna5719 very true, but perhaps it took getting rekt 4 times for Tweek to figure out all of Wizzy's tricks and make adjustments. the three games tweek won in set 2 were pretty convincing.
